Israel's Unwanted Black Migrants- Which Solution do You Favor?

Netanyahu thought he'd solved the problem of how to rid Israel of 16,500 unwanted African migrants. He'd worked out a deal with the United Nations department that handles refugee affairs, which would have sent the African migrants to the USA, Canada, Germany, & Italy.

But the deal fell through when the Minister of Education, Naftali Bennett exclaimed that the deal was unfair to Israel, as it would leave a further 16,000 black Africans to still reside in Israel. Netanyahu canceled the deal due to pressure from Bennett and his supporters in the Bayit Yehudi party.



Netanyahu is currently trying to seek out a deal for Israel that would involve Western nations like the United States absorbing all 30,000-40,000 Africans, or possibly settling them in Africa.

People of African descent account for approximately 0.7 of Israel's population.

Israel should assess each on a case by case basis to ascertain whether they're genuine refugees or not. Those that are should be allowed to stay, those that aren't settled in their home country or a willing third country. Israel denying refuge to persecuted individuals to maintain the states racial purity is the height of irony.

Yeah, not what's happening though. These are economic migrants for the most part, who if they had genuine refugee claims should have made them in Egypt. And obviously given the steps Israel took to bring in the Ethiopian Jews, reference to maintaining "racial purity" is just more anti-Israel tripe masquerading as concern trolling.

Israel itself states 90% of the migrants from Eritrea and Sudan (roughly 2/3rds of all African migranst) are genuine refugees.

And obviously given the steps Israel took to bring in the Ethiopian Jews, reference to maintaining "racial purity" is just more anti-Israel tripe masquerading as concern trolling.

Israeli government officials are on record stating that Israel's "Jewish majority" must be protected.

As of 2015, Israel had only granted asylum to 4 people of Sudanese or Eritrean background, from the thousands of applications they received. Don't you find this odd?

Actually, there's very little truth in your statement. Israel has broken it's promise to bring Ethiopian Jews to Israel, while simultaneously offering housing subsidies and cash incentives for European Jews to move to Israel. European Jews only need 1 Jewish grandparent to qualify for aliyah. All of this gives the impression that Israel has a very entenched racial preference for who it allows to emigrate.

Since then, the Jewish Agency withdrew its funding from the community synagogue in Gondar, canceling a nutrition program for children and at one point even removing the town's Torah scroll.

Although the government unanimously approved the immigration of all the remaining Jews from Ethiopia in November 2015, the decision faltered three months later when the Prime Minister’s Office refused to implement the program.."

Netanyahu would of done better by sending them back to africa instead of here in the United States. We can't have every country sending refugees to us because they can't handle them. We are dealing with the problem with Mexico,we don't need anymore.

Thats what Israel is doing.

The problem is that you cant deport immigrants who don't receive refugee status to Eritrea and South Sudan, I believe its the same problem around the world with the tiny difference that we have a land border with Africa and have thousands of people with that status.

It's well known by now that these people are largely unwanted. It's utterly shocking and repugnant to think that Israel's prime minister refers to these people as 'infiltrators' in public.
