BEIRUT (Reuters) - Any move to negotiate with Israel would be an “unforgivable mistake”, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday, after Saudi Arabia’s crown prince said Israelis were entitled to live peacefully on their own land.

Saudi Arabia - birthplace of Islam and site of its holiest shrines - does not officially recognize Israel, but Mohammed bin Salman’s comments, quoted in the U.S. magazine The Atlantic, are a further sign of an apparent thawing in bilateral ties.

These Iranians hate Israel even more than they hate the U.S.

Correction: These Iranians hate the US, because we support Israel.

The middle east is the greatest and most dangerous testimony that religion poisons everything.

[It] has so twisted the emotions of each side, that killing and sacrificing lives become the norm.

.....the greatest poison of all.

However, if the Saudis and the Israelis could actually come together finally, it could isolate others

into a coalition of ME peace composed by the principal countries and maybe, just maybe mean peace.

Common foes make strange bedfellows.

It should be noted that Israel had the bomb since the sixties, and in the entire fifty years since Saudi Arabia didn't make inroads for their own nuclear arms for the purpose of deterrence. In other words, they did not believe Israel would use its nuclear weapons preemptively. Now, fearing the collapse of the Iran deal, Saudi Arabia how now threatened that it must have its own nuclear arms stash, which tells you something about what they believe Iran would do once it got the bomb. Saudi Arabia may not officially recognize Israel, but they fear Iran.

What makes you think that Iran is planning to have a nuclear weapon?

So basically, Iran's saying they don't like the idea of making peace with Israel and hate others that do. They prefer war and death over peace and life.

Where did Iran say anything about war or death?

Seems to be like Saudi Arabia is talking almost as if they own Israel and are liable to use it as if it were a country-sized battering ram against the region.
