American Anarchists Joining the Rojava Revolution[W:16]

Re: American Anarchists Joining the Rojava Revolution

They're the only reliable fighters in the M.E. and when you say "soviet funds" that just goes to show how long ago that was.

Not that long ago:

Reuter reports "Russia becomes Iraq Kurds' top funder, quiet about independence vote"

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-mideast-crisis-kurds-referendum-russi/russia-becomes-iraq-kurds-top-funder-quiet-about-independence-vote-idUSKCN1BV1IH

Are you tacitly admitting that the U.S. government is screwing over the Kurds because of a 20 year old grudge against Russia? Because last time I checked the world has changed over the past 30 years and Russia has been supporting Syria, not the Kurds.

Is there perhaps duplicity involved in the balancing act with Turkey ?

We already had the inside track with Iraq and a bargaining chip with Turkey when it comes to refugees aid and if we weren't literally supporting terrorists to attack Assad we'd have good relations with them too. So we would have had Iraq in our pocket and better relations with Syria and Turkey and we could have at least TRIED to do something.

The Deep State is not interested in this for us reasonable outcome.

Shoulda-coulda-woulda aside, the U.S. government's constant and never ending short-sighted idiocy and self-defeating policy in the m.e. is why we spend Trillions of dollars there and never make any progress. We never could have made progress with IRAN, but with three other nations SOMETHING could have maybe have been worked out. Instead we have a long documented history of backstabbing the only reliable people in the M.E. besides Israel.

Because our elected officials do not work in our interest.

The Rojava Kurds (YPG/YPJ) have fought with US/SOF against ISIS from the siege of Kobane (late 2014) to liberating the ISIS capital city of Raqqa in August of 2017.

Turkey's dictator Erdogan would like nothing better than to militarily occupy and ethnically cleanse the Rojava Kurdish cantons (Afrin/Kobani/Jazira) in northern Syria.
