(CNN) — ISIS fighters have destroyed part of a Roman amphitheater in the ancient city of Palmyra, according to Syrian state news.

Syrian news agency SANA reported that "ISIS destroyed the facade of the Roman theater and the Tetrapylon in the ancient city of Palmyra."

Syrian state news also reported that 12 civilians were executed by ISIS militants in Palmyra on Thursday.

When will these dregs be eradicated? Of course the 12 lives are more important, but I hate to see history destroyed unnecessarily, and everything ISIS does is unnecessary.

Thought?

I would suggest an increased effort to cleanse the earth of this eruption of non-human bile begins shortly after 12 noon EST today.

I guarantee you that most news services will pay FAR more attention to the Roman ruins being destroyed then the 12 people who were executed.

Ridiculous.

A bunch of rocks mean nothing (I don't care how famous they were), those 12 lives mean everything.

Yep. It's a full page article highlighting vandalism in Palmyra and the very last line of the article casually mentions 12 civilians were executed by ISIS militants in Palmyra on Thursday.

Disgusting isn't it.

CNN???? No, there's no evidence it was ISIS. It could very well have been Obama's "Moderate Rebels" radical terrorists.

It's disgusting that CNN is still considered a news source. Can we all agree that their "journalism" is disgusting? "If it bleeds it leads" doesn't apply to brown people.
