THREAT: Iran Sending Elite Fighters Into USA, Europe...

There has never been any possibility of a US invasion of Iran. The US does not have sufficient forces for that.

We both know that, same as bombing Iran, a fools mission.

After they saw the Israelis erase the Iraqi reactor, Iranians began putting their facilities deep underground.

Yes and it would only delay an Iranian nuke. The damage to the US would have been substantial, it would 4 Muslim countries attacked. The repercussions would be multi generational

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps, the country’s elite military force, is sending assets to infiltrate the United States and Europe at the direction of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, according to recent Farsi-language comments from an Iranian military leader.

Iranian Military Sending Elite Fighters Into U.S., Europe

These are assholes that Stupid obama and Kerry, paid millions of dollars to as a bribe. Thanks obama and Kerry....you stupid ****ing putzes. :2mad:

I don't know what is more worrisome the paranoia that led to this thread, or the fact at least one person believes it.

Create F.U.D., fear, uncertainty and doubt and you can rule any way you like. Like North Korea

My guess is that the first result of an Iranian nuclear capability would be a Saudi-Israeli alliance.

I suggest that if you want to lessen tensions WITH Iran perhaps moving some bases might be a good idea?

Most of those are not bases in any meaningful sense of the word. Wherever the US has a presence we have been invited in response to a threat perceived by the host nation. When the Iranians threaten their neighbors less the neighbors won't ask us to be there.

Well it would never be made public.
Until l the Sauids start treating Shia as equals, Iran will have an edge.
Executing that Shia leader was a stupid move,
The crackdowns on Shia in Saudi, Bahrain will only lead to more Iranian influence and the ability to cause civil strife which the Saudis react with more force, more killings, more prison sentences. It will fail and increases Iranian influence.
Then we have the internal Saudi power struggle over who will be the next King

Israeli-Saudi cooperation is already an unkept secret. Saudis are no harder on Shia than Iranians are on Sunnis. Hezbollah, an Iranian instrument, is ruthlessly sectarian. Saudi royal succession will not be a problem.

Israel has been or has had lines of communications with Saudi- Qatar since forever.
If the Saudi's want to undermine Iranian influence, they have to implement a fairer program for Shia.
And yes the succession is causing problems as the new crown prince is being sidelined by Salman.

Saudi Arabia: The Thorny Issue of Succession
The issue of reforms in Saudi Arabia is inextricably linked to the line of succession. The kingdom is currently ruled by Salman bin Abdulaziz and the official heir to the throne is Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, while next in line is the energetic 30-year-old Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Some analysts have described last year’s reshuffling of the heirs to the throne as a «bloodless coup». Breaking with tradition, the son of the founder of the Saudi kingdom, Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, was excluded from the line of succession, thus skipping over the dynasty’s third generation. On one hand, this suggests King Salman’s intention to eliminate the current gerontocracy, while on the other hand, it could sow dissent within the royal family.

IMHO your linked source is overthinking the problem. The deal has likely already been made.

That would be my guess. The Kingdom is preparing for a long struggle.

Jack off to bed, thank you for an enjoyable conversation.

Did you even read the reports at the time? Money that had been frozen.

He aha te mea nui? He tangata, he tangata, he tangata!

What was wrong with freezing their funds? Have they compensated the US and the embassy personell for their kidnapping etc?
