Situation in Syria

This is the situation of syria in Spetember 4 2016:

The pink represents the government, green represents mainstream rebels, white represents al nusra (even though they usually don't fight the other rebels), yellow represents kurdish, and black represents Isis.

The biggest change in this month so far is that the rebels now completely cut off Isis from Turkey preventing would be recruits from joining the group. There is also a little bit of kurdish activity in the Deir Ezzor province.
