Anyone care to guess what Trump's ISIS plan will be? How is it possible per his boasts that he knows more about ISIS than the generals?

As with any Trump "plan" it depends on which Trump utterance you choose to base it on. All seem to be subject to change with little notice or can't be discussed in any detail lest we tip off the enemy.

I am sure he plans to place the planning in the hands of the military that will get the job done. Maybe some generals Obama forced out.

He wants to use a full scale ground invasion to stop isis.

The problem: Although it may make Iraq more stable in the short term, it won't fix the root of the problem. The cause of the unrest in Iraq has to do with the Shiite government discriminating against the Sunni minority.

This minority once ruled over Iraq when the Baathists took over the country but when Sadaam was toppled, the cabinet was completely cleaned of Baath party members (even though Iraq was a one party state) and the replacing members were mostly Shiites (which is a good thing since they're the majority) and the first prime minister, Maliki, tried to consolidate more power for the shiites. He didn't make peace with the sunnis but rather discriminated against them. In short, he was a shiite supremacist. This discrimination angered many sunnis which gave much opportunity to Al Queda, a sunni terrorist group. Al Queda insurgents harassed american soldiers and killed many iraqis over the course of 7 years. Many former leaders and generals of the baath party joined the insurgency. After the US withdrew, Al queda calmed down for a bit but in 2013, the Islamic state of Iraq (al queda in iraq) began to go into syria and take territory from the syrian rebels and renamed itself the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). At the dawn of 2014, they took fallujah. In june 4 2014, they took mosul and 4 days later, they defected from Al Queda and renamed themselves the Islamic State.
