This vote doesn't prove anything. In a world poll (assuming that most people here are from US) the Palestinians have the most support.

at least both sides are even at the "who has more childish idiots on their side?" poll

Eh, supposing you're right, I'd like to hear your stance on this.

on what? who do I support? I believe its pretty obvious yet I didn't vote in this stupid poll

I'll take that as either 1) you aren't supportive in either side, but criticize both, or 2) neither - which are almost virtually the same thing.

EDIT: By the way when I said "your stance", I didn't mean "who do you support." I literally meant, what do you think of the conflict.

This is not a question of black and white, like Mira said earlier, I support both.
I support a Jewish state along side a Palestinian state in a border that will be agreed upon by both sides through negotiations.

I fully agree

You think most of the western world supports Hamas over the Israeli governement?

Surely you are not talking about the people. Everyone should support all people equally.

He said world not western world, but I believe in both cases most of the people don't give a damn...

Judging by his opinion of the world, I know it regarding the mideast. I was wondering what his opinion of the west was and wanted to be sure he wasn't referring to people as opposed to governments. Anyway, I think he's wrong as I do not believe that China or India supports Hamas.

I never said Hamas... I was talking about the Palestinian cause in general, Hamas is a different story.

How Israel Helped to Spawn Hamas

Palestine aka envious terrorist state.

There is always a need by so many to reduce the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to a simplistic concept of dualism-simply two opposite extremes that must
be necessarily in conflict until one ceases to exist.

I clearly agree with those who have repeated what I have that one can support the right of both people to sovereignty.

This further exercise of snapshot history, pulling an event out of a running sequence of events and using that event as an excuse
to turn either side into the bad guy is equally is pointless.

Its name calling. No more, no less.

Both sides have failed. Both sides have people who have tried to exchange civility and have been prevented.

I myself am always amused by the arm chair experts who throw out judgements against one or the other side
as being ridiculous when they live in a country founded on the extermination of aboriginals.

To me this debate is absurd.

Gee how does one go about getting Hamas to recognize Israel one poster asked Myra. Right.

The IRA put down its weapons before Northern Ireland's feuding peoples could get to the
table. Is it so complex to explain to someone Israel can not sit at a table with Hamas when its
constitution remains the extermination of Jews who support Israel not just in Israel but world-wide?

Is that so complex?

You want the IDF to stop patrolling the waters off off of Gaza or maintaining its presence on
the West Bank? Do what the IRA did, turn in the weapons. Then the occupation force as some of you
call it becomes a moot point.

It aint rocket science. Just rockets.

By the way some of you might want to look and see and find out just who has been using cluster bombs.

In your attempt to suggest it has only been Israel you would be dead wrong. As usual.

But hey what do I know, I hate all of you equally. Except Ido, Mira and Mya.

I was being tongue in cheek. Put down your missile.

I am 150% pro-Israel and I only need to be 100% pro-Israel to show my full support. But I add on the extra 50% to the 100% for added emphasis. I am that strongly opposed to the Palestinians (aka, "Jordanians" of Israel). Nobody with a clear thinking mind should be pledging their support for the Palestinians,

Israel for sure, while I believe the Palestinians have good reasons to complain... it is what it is. Israel would make a better global contribution to our world and are far less likely to bomb innocent civilians, therefore no contest.
