Here is me doing an amateur review of my new conceal carry revolver the Smith and Wesson 586 L-Comp.
In 4 months I will be out of Marine Corps and be a civilian again after 5 years of active service and a 1 year deployment to Afghanistan. I have been doing my transition classes and getting my VA, Eduction benefits and my college set up. I find myself more afraid of this change then the one to become a Marine in the first place. I don't know if it's normal or just me, but trying to find a job, living place, paying bills, while being a full time student is more scary then getting in a fire fight.
So am going home on leave today and when I get back to Washington am going to buy my first personal firearm. I'm looking at getting a Springfield Armory 1911 .45 Mil Spec or the GI model. Also am going to get my CC permit which also allows me to open carry it loaded. God Bless the 2nd amendment![]()
