Liberty-Loving Gen Yers will reshape politics.

Yeah. The idea that libertarianism and religion can't mix is asinine. In fact, I recall there in the '50's Spiritual Mobilization was distributing libertarian pamphlets and obviously, they were religious. So definitely there can be a coexistience of the religious and the libertarians, so long...

Liberty-Loving Gen Yers will reshape politics.

As a libertarian (little 'l') I don't see myself aligning with the Republican Party unless they start calling themselves libertarians instead of conservatives. Not to mention, I don't align with parties regardless.

Here's to hoping Obama fails miserably

Well, if what Obama is pushing is necessarily against capitalism, then I do hope he fails. But he would be no different than pretty much any American President in the 20th or 21st centuries.

Would You Utilize Torture to Save a Life?

I suppose that is a fair contention. Before you can classify torture as immoral or otherwise, you would first have to define what constitutes torture and that in itself, is a subject of debate.

Should the government take and store DNA and blood samples of law abiding citizens?

Re: Should the government take and store DNA and blood samples of law abiding citizen I don't really care what they can or can't do with it; whether there are good intentions involved or not and if there is necessarily good benefits derived from it. It's just a simple issue of: the government...

Would You Utilize Torture to Save a Life?

That's why I don't like hypotheticals. They are stacked on one side in order to force someone's hand to prove a point and therefore, do not reflect reality most of the time. I would not torture. I'd like to think I'm further out of the jungle than that. Of course, I'm not trying to imply I'm...

For those who love, or hate, Obama.

Relative to the comparison and I say relative because the comparison isn't really fair at this point (eight years vs. a few months), I don't favor one over the other. From rhetoric to the action that is there, I view them as equally destructive.

Should the government take and store DNA and blood samples of law abiding citizens?

Re: Should the government take and store DNA and blood samples of law abiding citizen Do I want the government to have power over decision-making regarding that of my DNA? Uh. No thanks.

    How Bush Got Elected

With regards to the perspective on history... that's why the history of the New Deal and FDR has such a slant to it because the perspective of it, was written very shortly after. Which sucks. Thankfully, the last decade or so has brought about new perspectives on it.

Is controversial to be for gay marriage or against gay marriage?

That's a great question. To me, it would seem the most controversial to think homosexuals shouldn't have the capacity to get married. I have never come across a sound argument against it.

I like my answers better. :)

    How Bush Got Elected

Bush won the first time because some idiots wanted to drink a beer with him. Bush won the second time because Evangelical Christians thought gays were going to take over the world.

    A simple question for Republicans...

Unfortunately, that makes schools good targets as well.

What the Republicans "know" about the economy

Those banks never make those risky loans on the free market (well they might, but it isn't likely). The only reason they did it in this instance is because they knew government had their backs. Government fostered a mentality in the '90's that housing prices will always go (which was ludicrous)...

What the Republicans "know" about the economy

You're talking about greed backed by government (the collusion of big business and big government). I'm not.
