Back when I was young there used to be these drinking games tied to television shows.

I guess it still goes on, only with different shows now. I have heard of ones tied to Game of Thrones and Madmen

I thought of one for Trump speeches.

It is great for any aspiring alcoholics out there - Take a drink any time Trump praises himself or one of his policies. Take two drinks anytime he says Clinton or Hillary or Obama

Depends what speech you are watching. Because some of these are going to require a surgeon generals warning, along with an application for your own Darwin award.

FWIW, I learned one from a Wahoo friend of mine whose fraternity played it a lot. I rather like it actually.

It's a word passing game. Each person calls out a word which passes the turn to say a word to another person. They played it using "zoom, zorch, boink" and "meow."

  • Zoom --> Speaker says "zoom" while looking to his right, which passes the turn to the person on his right.
  • Zorch --> Speaker says "zorch" while looking to his left, which passes the turn to the person on his left.
  • Boink --> Head-fake zoom (Person saying "boink" looks right, but the turn passes to the person on his left/)
  • Meow --> "Head-fake" zorch (Person saying "meow" looks left, but the turn passes to the person on his right.)

Thumper was the popular game in my college Club. (Same basic idea -- passing a signal from person to person -- but with gestures rather than words.)

Our starting was a bit different from what was in the video, but that's of no matter....
What's the name of the game? Thumpers!
When do you play? All day! [Some folks used "How do you play? All the way!]
Why do we play? To get ****ed up!

LOL! Those were the days....
