Launched at Lynnhaven Inlet around 5:00 am this morning. The bite was a bit slow until 9:00 am.

Puppy Drum turned on at around and it was a fish every cast.

Nappy Time! ;)
 
Pure heaven! Talk about a stress reducer.
A few summers back I did some Kayaking and loved it.

Just got back into it a while ago. I was one of the very first kayak fisherman in this area 15 years ago, and now there are thousands of them throughout Virginia. People used to think I was crazy out on the ocean or on the Chesapeake Bay Tunnel Bridge fishing. I used to paddle from Virginia Beach (Lesner Bridge) over to Cape Charles on Friday nights and troll bait the entire way. 19 miles.

That sounds like a blast. Salt water fish can get big, and strong.

Those are called "Wave Walks". I have two friends that have them. One of them uses a 12 volt battery with 35 lb. thrust motor and the other uses a 3 hp outboard. They can be a real workout paddling into the wind.
