Feds: Brooklyn gang member released without bail in May attempted murder case participated in three drive-by shootings in July | nydailynews.com

A Brooklyn gang member released without bail on an attempted murder charge in May took part in three more shootings after he was sprung when a witness recanted, according to Brooklyn federal prosecutors.
Darrius Sutton, 23, was hauled into court months ago for a May 16 shooting, during which he allegedly shot another man in the courtyard of an East New York building, seriously injuring the victim, according to the feds. Despite charges of attempted murder, criminal possession of a weapon and assault with intent to cause injury, Sutton was released in the state case without bail set, according to court documents.

Failed Democrat Party policies. City leaders who abandon and condemn their own First Responders. Politicians playing along with a dangerous, radical movement using violence and threats of violence to leverage demands.

Herein lies the root of the problem.

So after the original witness recanted, what should he have been held on/charged with, possession of a firearm ?

Thought y'all didn't like the government coming for peoples guns.

Bet you are a big second amendment fan, right. ;)

Oh noes, not Willie Horton...again. Whatever shall we do? I know...let's vote that malignant manboob in the WH out office so we make America great again. :)

Our system of laws is predicated on the basis that 10 guilty people should go free rather than 1 innocent person punished.

Do you want to do away with the presumption of innocence? Or, do you have another somehow perfect system that you suggest we use?

I don't understand the point of your post. How is this a "Democrat" problem?

1. Here in Los Angeles, the police were recently ordered to stop checking motorists in a certain crime-ridden part of this city.

2. Some people in the area claimed that they were being racially profiled.

3. Furthermore, our Democratic-run city government is taking some police funds and giving them to community organizations. Supposedly, this move will help to reduce violent crime.

IDK, maybe...defund the police and assign a social worker?

I'll bet you're a big fan of conjecture, speculation, making assumptions and jumping to conclusions.

You claimed we ignore it in your op

I realize that some people need their hands held while reading, I'm just not willing.

Keep working through it; reward awaits in the struggle! Mine that gold!
