These are the protect and serve people. They harass. They lie. They threaten. They lie. But some get shot, and illegal alien drug dealers are scary, so it's all okay. Probably won't happen to your pretty white daughter......

See, here's the thing you need to finally get into your heads: your rights are only on paper until you are recording and assert them. Even then they only exist so long as the government agent does not take the phone and destroy it. A white a lawyer is in a far better position than the average minority target. Before cameras everywhere, this happened all the time.





But then, Floyd was murdered on video, calmly and callously.

Why is it so often the “small government” Conservatives who so easily dismiss calls for Police to be held accountable for abuses and to be reigned in...

Security Agents Of The State seem to fall under their radar which is... Interesting.

Ah well, arm the Security Agents of the State to the teeth, make sure they have very poor mechanisms of accountability for use of force and continue to support an economic system that strips the middle and lower classes of more rights and economic opportunities and access to legal representation to combat the oppressive Security Agents of the State.

I’m sure NOTHING is gonna go wrong there.

I'm already more than well aware that the vast majority of people who claim to be small government conservatives who are worried about abuse of power by government are lying. You didn't need to tell me again.

Your constitutionally protected rights should be drilled into everyone in school and by their parents. Everyone should understand their rights and exert those rights when the government oversteps. I think the police are a necessary function, but it seems like too many forget for whom they work.

"What if it was a poor black dude" You just won't admit what it would too often be. Over reaction, insults, cussing and name calling. a total disrespect for the officers just doing there jobs. Along with the possibility of a physical confromtation and then the all too often attempt to escape. This white guy, right or wrong, guilty of something or not just followed their directions and it looks like nothing bad happened. More poor black dudes should try that approach.

So what you're saying is that anything other than complete submission to the police is unacceptable and any questions or answering back is grounds for harassment and arrest?
There's also plenty of videos of people who are cooperating being manhandled by police anyway.

I think that the bad guy should be arrested, convicted and sentenced to an appropriate amount of time. If a cop is physically attacked and in danger of losing his weapon and his life, he should be able to use any means neccessary to control the situation. Encluding choke holds.

The problem is the police have a habit of beating the **** out of people who aren't resisting and way beyond reason.
The antics of many police would be completely unacceptable in the UK.

You can't just make such a statement without proving it. State the facts that show police beat people without just cause.

Erm, have you not noticed the protests about police actions?
They aren't protesting because the police are a bit rough when they give out backrubs to tired drivers or when tucking people in at night.

So what you are saying is that because liberals protest they MUST be right. According to you police just abuse, attack and beat up blacks for the sport of it. I am very old and I have been stopped by the police many times, even arrested and held in jail. I never disrespected the officers and never ever felt fear in their presence. What comes around, goes around--your reap what you sow.

Good video... I saw it a year or so ago at least, but it is still very relevant.
