Trump commutes Blagojevich's sentence and grants clemency to 10 others

Hey I enjoyed watching him go to prison just as much as the next guy but 14 years caused a lot of heads to turn. Again he got 14 years for a victimless crime.....here in Ma violent rapists are let back out on the street and armed bank robbers get 5-6. How is that not unbalanced. Ig Blago got 14 then I would expect a rapist to get 25 to life. Do you agree?

Position of power and authority link g his pockets with bribes for appointments.

In other words, he cannot claim he didn't know better, and grossly abused the power of his office for personal gain.

Personally, I think anyone in a position of authority convited of a felony should serve a minimum of twice the statutory maximum. To send a strong deterrent message.

Conservatives used to like sending messages like that.

Now, not so much.

Its not victimless! He tried to sell our representation, he harmed every single citizen of Illinois.

I'm not in ****ing Massashusetts, now crawl down off your cross. I don't have to agree to anything, moral equivalence isn't an argument, its an excuse.

Oh we do...the queation here is why it is so unbalanced. Leftist judges are literally letting violent rapists off without any jail time. Do you believe violent rapists of underage girls should be sentenced to wrist slaps while victimless crimes get 14 years? I don't. I'd like to know why liberal judges are letting rapists off with a slap on the wrist...don't you?

It seems many conservative judges are also reluctant to sentence "certain" rapists to more than a slap on the wrist.

Sure...moreso liberal judges...but in any case...why is the blago case an issue but the girls getting raped here in Ma not?
