A man has been arrested after allegedly deliberately driving a van into a tent full of Trump supporters who were working to register new voters at a shopping center parking lot.

The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon in the Kernan Village Shopping Center in eastern Jacksonville, Florida, when a man, later identified by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office as 27-year-old Gregory Timm, allegedly drove a van through a tent where people were working to register voters. The driver narrowly missed several people in the tent and fled the scene after the incident by car.

Timm was arrested several hours later and charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault on a Person 65 Years of Age or Older, one count of Criminal Mischief, and Driving While Driver’s License Suspended, according to Jacksonville’s Sheriff’s Office.

In a nation of over 320,000,000 people, this sounds like a spectacular non-event. Was there some point? Possibly that he must be librul thus librulz are poopy, or?

Just like Charlottesville, crazies are on both sides. Only this time luckily no one was killed.

throw the book at him.

Of course you would think that.....

The only difference between the Charlottesville driver and this guy is that White Nationalist are better drivers than Antifa.

If a conservative drives into a crowd it is representative of white man hate syndrome and indicative that the Right is a hateful group... If a Liberal drives into a crowd it is a non-event. Don't you understand the rules?

OK now I understand how that works! :doh ;)

Still can't cough up an answer? How cowardly of you.

Knew I was right...

Driving a car into a crowd of people was an event for months when the Conservative did it...

Not this time though. What is the difference, you ask? This guy was a Liberal. Gets a pass.

Should I still waste my time replying?

:sigh:

Well, let's see:

1. This IS in the media and IS on liberal sources, plus the guy got arrested, so he did not "get a pass." Stupid Bodi lie 1.

2. The guy in Charlottesville killed one in injured near thirty people. This guy didn't kill anyone. Stupid Bodi lie 2.

3. Trump made sure to keep Charlottesville in his news with his deliberately vague "fine people on both sides" remark, which could then later be spun out by conservative media to its consumers so that they could make a big show of crying about how the "snowflake" media is so mean to them, yadda yadda. You know, like you're doing right now. Stupid Bodi lie 3.

4. No, this wasn't about the media. If it was about the media he would have said it in the OP. If he forgot, he'd have said it in respond to my remark. Instead, in a display of great cowardly posting, he ran away....only to come back to high-five your lame trollish swill. He was really doing what the guy in the thread quoted in post #15 was doing. And while that's an ugly and lazy hyperpartisan lie, at least that thread is honest about its purpose. And you knew all that, so... Stupid Bodi lie 4.

The fake victim routine is pathetic, especially when the people who embrace it the most call liberals "snowflakes".

So you got your reaction with the trollish dishonesty. Have a cookie.

looks like the left is fighting back

The Charlottesville driver injured 28 and killed a person.
This driver...knocked over some leaflets?

Don't get me wrong...both actions were despicable... But complaining that they didn't get the same media coverage is absurd.

Not condoning what the jackass did, but he didn't even damage the e-z up or table.

And all the old ladies managed to get out of the way.

So "driving into a crowd" might be a bit of an exaggeration of what happened.

He evidently filmed it. So we may get more clarity eventually.

And the two counts of assault on a senior citizen should put his ass behind bars for a while. Which he deserves.

Agreed... my point is not the amount of media coverage though. My point is the Left, in this case, dismissing the attack as a non-event, as at least one specifically stated in this thread.
