A runner who smacked a reporter's backside on air now faces charges
Thomas Callaway committing sexual battery on TV reporter Alex Bozarjian on camera.
I think Callaway is only sorry now because he was arrested and charged. He is reportedly a Youth Minister and a Boy Scout leader.
An apparent cheap sex thrill artist, this makes me wonder how many other female backsides he smacked or grabbed during the Savannah marathon event.
And just for legal clarity, putting your unwanted hands on someone is simple battery, not simple assault. Doing so to the opposite gender is sexual battery. Doing so with malicious harm is aggravated [sexual] battery, a felony. Sexual battery "first-offense" in Georgia is a misdemeanor of a high nature, punishable by up to 12 months in jail and a fine of up to $5,000. Do this again and you're looking at 5 years in prison.
Every 'youth minister' I've ever met has been a really odd, creepy invidivual.
