"You don't bother me, I don't bother you" is a principle I live by and I see nothing wrong with living by such a principle. I don't instigate but I shouldn't have to put up with anybody who instigates with me. The problem with our laws is when somebody gets in trouble for not putting up with somebody else messing with them.

Lets say somebody messes with me and I properly take care of them, I shouldn't get in trouble for that.

No, it's not. It's at least the 3rd.

You just didnt get anyone saying that you could retaliate with physical force in the other ones either...didnt get 'no satisfaction'...and are trying again.

That's just the thing, I don't act like a jerk. That's the whole purpose of living by the "you don't bother me, I don't bother you," principle. If I was going around instigating I would be acting like a jerk. I don't instigate.

You seemed to have "bothered" a few people in this thread. Wouldn't that be instigating? Shouldn't those people not have to put up with it?

I prefer to roll with "live and let live"

If people instigate me or are just plain rude, I drive off singing under my breath to a Jimmy Buffet tune while they are stuck back there still miserable.
