Murder In Canada

WTH, I'm not on the list? Sure, I spent the 4th of July in the USA celebrating with my American friends, but maybe it's part of an evil plot? :)

How am I supposed to know where your location is if you don't show it?

I call BS on all listed, you don't know that they're anti-American, you likely feel the same about me, and you're dead wrong.

You call BS on people that you have probably never talked to? But I do like your "like" to that one person yesterday that made a stupid comment to me... that was pretty funny.

Read as many times as it takes you to comprehend what I said, no hurry. I said you don't know they're anti-American.

Glad you liked my like to another member for their comment to you. The fact that it may have been a "stupid" comment is your opinion, and your opinion only. Happy to bring some much needed laughter into your life, maybe it will help you lighten up and unwind a bit. Keep the positive attitude, good for your blood pressure. ;)

Good...as a Canadian citizen, I'd be happy if you never came here. You literally make our country better by staying away. Thank you. We all thank you. This could be your greatest gift to Canada ever.

Actually, we're as pro America as over half your population, per the last popular vote. ;) And they still love us as much as we love them, last time I checked. Honestly, they're the type of American we'd rather have up here anyway...no offense, you know I love you too...but you'd probably feel uncomfortable up here, given all the crazy **** you believe and say about us...

Agree with your stay away appreciation for certain individuals, I personally would love to visit Canada once more in my old age if possible, both myself and my spouse love Canada, many good memories from our time there.

You are as pro-American as over half of our population since the last popular vote, and that's a good thing!

I got what you said but perhaps you did not comprehend what or why I said what I said... you have not been here long so you don't know what they have said and what I do know... take your time... all good.

...and nobody is more chill than I am. Nobody.

I've read a lot here long before I joined, so I have a good idea of who is anti-American and who isn't. I don't know anything you know, that's a fact, but I do know how an endless back and forth with you can waste other member's time, so in saying that, have a good night. Nobody is more chill than you are , very Trumpian statement, but I won't judge. :)

I will take your advice!

Couldn't watch your video from work, bud, but if you do make it back up, specifically to the south eastern part of Ontario, I've got a beer and a backyard campfire with your name on it....and a beer for your spouse too, but you'll have to share the fire...hehe... :)

Also...haha...don't worry about Bod. He's the court jester around here. If you take everything he says with a grain of salt, and none of it too seriously, you're probably interpreting him just right. ;) Bod is good people...in an Andrew Dice Clay kinda way.

In other words Bodi lives under a bridge in New Zealand, and tries to collect tolls

First, let me as a Canadian express our sorrow and shame for the seemingly senseless deaths of Chyna Desse and Lucas Fowler on Canadian soil and also extend our deepest sympathies to their families and friends. Let me also extend similar sentiments to the alleged and as yet still unnamed third victim and that person's family. Too many people, Canadians/First Nations and visitors to our country have lost their lives on the "Highway of Tears". This was a tragedy and it happened in Canada, so we have to own it.

Second point:

Crystal:

Perhaps you should consider spending your hard earned money in parts of your beloved USA which really need it if you find Canada and Canadians so odious. Puerto Rico needs your dollars, Kansas and Arkansas are always looking for more tourists. If you wish to hate on Canadians and Canada, well that's your right in America, but maybe you could let your tourist dollars do some real good where they are most needed to help your fellow Americans.

Of course if your heart is set on Alaska, well then go and be sure to see Russia from your back porch, I hear the view is breath taking for soccer moms and pit bulls alike.;)

Cheers.

Did the murders take place on the highway of tears? I thought it might have but did not check it out

Lord Tamerlain:

That's what reports on the tele and the radio said but I haven't researched it independently.

Lord Tamerlain:

I just checked several on-line sources and they contradict what I reported. These murders and disappearances did not take place on the "Highway of Tears". I must learn to never trust TV or radio or perhaps to pay closer attention to what they report. My apologies to all for the error of location.

Cheers.

NP

This is something I just read about it

RCMP say they received “a number of tips” regarding a person of interest in the case — Derek Whisenand, a Texas man who crossed the border into Canada sometime around June 24.

According to Manitoba RCMP, Whisenand is wanted for murder in Texas, may have a gun and is considered dangerous.

On Tuesday, B.C. RCMP Sgt. Janelle Shoihet said police “have received a number of tips in relation to Whisenand.”

“I have passed that information onto investigators but do not have a sense of whether or not they are looking in relation to the tragedies in northern B.C.,” she said.
Here’s what we know about the 3 dead, 2 missing in Northern B.C. | Globalnews.ca

The RCMP are looking for an American who crossed the boarder illegally as a potential suspect in the murders

Yet you just did... Canadians are some of the biggest anti-Americans on the planet... frothing with hatred and exuberant when America messes up... just look at the apathy when some barbarous Canadian butchered an innocent American and an Aussie bogan.

Yawn.

That is a very unfortunate attitude to have...

Bodhisattva:

In my opinion you are the embodiment of a very unfortunate attitude and the incarnation of the nattering goblins' secret weapon in Tolkien's Mines of Moria.

Cheers and be better.

I embody many different things...

Please. Think twice. Three times. Honest, you wouldn't like it here. Nothing but bugs and bad weather and miles and miles of nothing but mind-numbing boredom. Stay away. That's best. Go to a nice all-inclusive in Mexico or Florida or somewhere.

Good advice. I spent a couple months in Montreal one week. Dirty, bleak, cold and miserable. Now I know why Canadians make such good beer and sippin' whiskey. To get you through it all with some sanity left. BTW: I totally understand your strict gun laws. No Canadian should own a gun. Too much of a temptation during those long, horrible winters.

But then every Alaskan over the age of 12 owns a gun, so there's that.

And they have a high suicide rate. By the end of that miserable week in Montreal, if it weren't for the excellent booze, I would have shot myself too. Who'd a thought a week long drunk could save your life? go figure.

Sounds like there were two equally positive outcomes and you chose the easy one. Best all around, my guess. You probably shouldn't tempt fate like that again.

The gun to the head would have been the easy choice. But don't worry, I won't put myself in that position. I'll never again visit Montreal in the winter.

Waddy:

No one told you about the vibrant and warm underground city below Montreal? I wonder why that happened? In Quebec its wine and local moonshine called either alcool or Caribou. Beer and Whiskey are for the Anglos.

There are plenty of guns in Canada and in Montreal too. We just know how to keep and use them responsibly. We don't often shoot ourselves. In Montreal, the preferred means of suicide are drugs/alcohol or if you're feeling particularly desperate and dramatic, by jumping in front of a Metro train (subway) or by jumping off a bridge.
