Why is there "diversity" for women, but not for those with Autism?

Wrong again! Revenge, no. Get my piece of the pie, even if by legal force, yes. I have managed to feather my nest. There's just a few more years to do it where it won't be necessary to try any more.

No, you just don't possess any feelings for others and you think they are trying to get you. Add in some delusional thinking...

It's OK, you're always right and others are always wrong. Do you feel better now?

This demand for "emotional intelligence" for those that live life on a transactional basis is like expecting blind people to drive. Take the gender gap and multiply it by a thousand. Corporate women demand and retaliate against lack of "emotional intelligence" that is characteristic of a typical male, much less someone that has maybe 10% of the aptitude of a typical male. I am successful, but find the need to go "balls to the wall" to get any consideration. This includes lawyering up and forcing consideration under the naked legal action. Women seem to get all this just handed to them. All the celebration of "breaking thorough the glass ceiling" and prominent initiatives to "promote women" is somehow a given. Why are those of us on the Autism spectrum forced to either live on SSDI and take on a role of being unfit for the labor market or being hard nosed and getting what they need thorough brute force of the legal system? There seems to no goodwill nor supportive culture in the corporate environment for us. Suing for each-and-every positive consideration gets old. Asking for a quiet work area gets treated like being public enemy number one. If you can't function in a noisy "bullpen", you get labeled as "not a team player". Then comes the choice: Get a lawyer or get disciplinary action. Of course, the lawyer is the better of the two choices.

If any one wonders why I despise Western women so much it's this: Retaliation for not having the aptitudes that they demand. Who in the hell are they to dictate what skills are mandated?

??? WOW

i didnt read these links just looked them up real quick for you but it may help

good luck and you're welcome!

She changed her tune when a labor law attorney contacted the company.

It seems that many people "change their tune" when they receive a letter from an attorney.

Fear is a great thing in controlling human beings.

Getting blamed for bringing a system down that I didn't touch is clearly not my fault. Thankfully someone came to my rescue with logs and discredited the accuser. You're talking out of your ass. Getting a request to a quieter work area denied because the queen bee in charge of facilities didn't like me is another example. She changed her tune when a labor law attorney contacted the company.

"After a lifetime of privilege, equality feels like oppression"

Forcing someone to work with ongoing headaches because of constant chatter is not a reasonable accommodation. Should people without empathy just be sentenced to a life of poverty? Should they be jailed? Perhaps exterminated? That would be really empathetic, huh?

Noise cancelling headphones...very common in workplaces, esp those with 'cubes'.

The drama & sensitivity to perceived slights is palpable in your posts...wouldnt you be the first to claim those are faults in women?

I spoke with Temple Grandin about 2 weeks ago now and she was very very clear that those meds will make a huge difference in the lives of people on the spectrum. She said that they are the only thing that enabled her to succeed out in society.

She is on low doses for maintenance now. She said she completely understands that trying to find the right combination/dosage is very difficult, disorienting, even scary but she was adamant that the right thing will open up society for most, making them feel more comfortable and secure. She said it's absolutely necessary and worthwhile to go thru that struggle for a better life for all but maybe the most extreme cases.

You sound pretty high-functioning, you might consider the drugs again. Imagine how all those around you would benefit as well?

I have lots of respect for Temple Grandin. My big struggle is people acting in a retaliatory manner for no apparent reason.

Your perceptions, by diagnosis, may not be realistic.

You are more patient than I am Beef...

He doesn't realize how his condition clouds his judgement and rationality, which is why he lives in a self made world of vengeance and anger.

His condition is that cloud... so to speak.

Yeah, it is scary that he can't understand the damage he does to others.

What is scary is that I don't have a magic umbrella, yet this seemingly insane person proudly displays it or something.

Your autism is functionally able kind of like my ability to overcome alcoholism, and still function well enough to earn a good wage. I don't get your charge against women entirely, but I do get the fact that you feel that you are discriminated against within the guidelines of the women's rights movement.

Other than that, it is difficult to find common ground with you on these issues.

What I would like to know about autism is this: It is obviously a huge deal, I have a cousin with an autistic child who is grown up now. Her son played with thousands of legos day after day, in a different world.

Can you tell me, what does all that mean?

The OPer has a lot of threads and messages complaining about women. So, what's his REAL history story about women for such a deep and diverse animosity towards females?

This is a lose/lose situation for you. While you're under the expectation to make accommodations for those who have been deemed members of a protected class, and to do so without complaint, if your particular needs are trampled upon, you're expected to deal with it, or be termed a ***** incel. Times have changed, yet as always, men are expected to bear the burden, and do so silently.

I have no dog in this fight, but I'm aware of the way things are.

He isn't insane. He is autistic. It can be helped with good medication, but he won't take it.

I wonder the same thing...

I am not sure that autism medication can help anger issues...
