When Sackler asked Purdue's stock holders to 'imagine a natural disaster...a blizzard.. deep, dense, and white', it would appear that he had a firm grasp of who was going to get hooked on OxyContin. The 'incidentals' are too numerous to go on being incidental.

He comes from a long line of Jewish dope peddlers. His relatives also targeted white America.

During the sixties, Arthur got rich marketing the tranquillizers Librium and Valium. One Librium ad depicted a young woman carrying an armload of books, and suggested that even the quotidian anxiety a college freshman feels upon leaving home might be best handled with tranquillizers. Sackler promoted Valium for such a wide range of uses that, in 1965, a physician writing in the journal Psychosomatics asked, “When do we not use this drug?” One campaign encouraged doctors to prescribe Valium to people with no psychiatric symptoms whatsoever: “For this kind of patient—with no demonstrable pathology—consider the usefulness of Valium.” Roche, the maker of Valium, had conducted no studies of its addictive potential. Win Gerson, who worked with Sackler at the agency, told the journalist Sam Quinones years later that the Valium campaign was a great success, in part because the drug was so effective. “It kind of made junkies of people, but that drug worked,” Gerson said.

Really? White people invent products which kill hundreds of thousands of other white people, while gobbling up huge profits for themselves? Who has done this?

What if he were Irish or Russian? Would it be allowed to mention that? Or does such mention make one become anti-Irish?

Well on DP, the larger problem I see is that folks are so terrified to believe their own eyes rather than what they've been told is 'acceptable' to acknowledge. If the stalwarts of acceptable thought didn't permit you to think something, you'd better not. Then we hear complaints about why critical thought and independent thinkers are a thing of the past. Pff...

Is he religious? I don't know that he is. But according to Jewish public figures, being Jewish is an all-encompassing identity, which overshadows all else. It's a race/ethnicity/religion all rolled into one. One such Jewish public figure is Ben Shapiro, who also says that being white is not a valid identity . Another is David Pakman, who is politically the polar opposite of Shapiro, except on the issues of Jewishness, and white people lacking a unique identity & culture that they're entitled to preserve.

You can bet if the owners of Purdue happened to be Muslims, it would be screamed all over town.

The religious orientation of any public figure is merely trivial pursuit, but even trivial facts can be very interesting to some.

because usually such mentioning of "being Jewish" is not innocent and also totally irrelevant to the discussion.

Well, when Sackler is acting as philanthropist, donating money to art museums, we can recognize that he's a Jewish man improving society. And when he's acting as a drug lord whose killed hundreds of thousands with his drugs, we'll just call him white. That's usually how it works in this country.
