Blasey Ford's $ 1 million worth of "nothing to gain"

As usual, it all boils down to "follow the money"!

Dr. Blasey “Ford stands to gain some $1 million and counting from national crowdfunding campaigns launched by friends and other supporters, while she is … fielding book offers.” What’s the million bucks for? Supposedly, her lawyers are pro bono. Now they’re not. I guarantee you her lawyers are gonna get some money.

“Two GoFundMe accounts have raised more than $842,000 for Ford, and the money is still coming in weeks after she testified and left the spotlight,” and said she doesn’t intend to say any more about it. “The total does not include a third account collecting $120,000 for an academic endowment in her name.” So Dr. Blasey Ford now has been the recipient of close to a million bucks and she’s got book deals being offered.

“Nothing to gain.”

Just like Anita Hill had nothing to gain.

I bet Ford will take a lot of really long plane rides to Hawaii and Tahiti with all that money.

And Dr. Ford knew all this when she contacted her congressman before Kavanaugh was even nominated? She knew all this in advance? She knew how it would all play out and how people would start a go fund me site and how her lawyers that she never knew she'd need would take her on a pro bono basis? Horse ****!

If Dr. Ford is that talented in making psychic predictions she'd make a hell of a lot more money in Vegas or the Lotto than she would banking on a go fund me site. Jesus!

Lastly, I suspect the lawyers will get paid if there is enough money, as well they should. Given the state of violent opposition in the US I suspect the money collected will fall short of paying for her 24/7 security. There is little doubt she needs protection not from brown foreigners but rather from other Americans.

Obviously she had help. She even has new area of expertise she can teach. She can call it the "Al Sharpton Shakedown Methodology" or "Professional Grievance Techniques".

maybe we will get lucky and Kavanaugh will be part of a majority decision that really upsets foreigners who complain about our Supreme Court makeup

hopefully, most of that loot will go to fines and defense counsel fees when she gets indicted for perjury
