Usually right after the incident, not almost a week later. And local press is putting out that the family plans on going to the next citizens' meeting to discuss it. Sounds very reasonable and calm for a reaction to me, within the city I live in.

Smart mother, and that he's doing what she says makes him smart for doing that at least.
