Death Penalty

The Onion is a satire site, not a news site.

It's also far smaller and less profitable than any major media outlet.

Same thing. National Enquirer, MSNBS news, CBS, ABC, or whatever. They are all in the same dog cart with leftist loony tune liberals, except for select stations like Fox News.

We have this idea that it’s more humane if we leave a pretty corpse. A guillotine would be quickest.

If I had to spend the rest of my life in prison, I would rather be executed.

If you can support abortion and support the death penalty then you should be able to support assisted suicide.

Do you not understand what satire is?

Equating CNN and the National Enquirer. How crazy is that claim?

Someone should apologize to the National Enquirer for such slanderous comparison to the hog pen mud-slinging leftist propagandist outlet.

Surely, you can understand how deliberate attempts at comedy and deliberate attempts at reporting on current events are different things.

The Onion isn't news.

That's what they teach in North Cackalacky?

I know. The onion is putrefying garbage.

No, and they do not teach this stuff at West Point either, which is why I dropped out.

I skipped all that foo foo crap and enlisted airborne infantry.

Dropped out or were “found wanting?”

Some dogs just need to be put down, maybe if we truly wanted justice we should put them down by the method they used on their victims, it puts the choice of method in their hands, sounds fair enough for me.

Not to me...but then again, I don't regard those eligible for the death penalty as animals either.

I skipped all that foo foo crap and enlisted airborne infantry.

I was in the 82nd Airborne at Ft. Bragg when I was accepted into West Point Prep School.

I dropped out of the prep School after mid-terms. I was the top of the class academically at mid-term but I turned West Point down, much to the disappointment of school officials.

I'm pretty well up on the wide range of medications used in general anaesthesia, keep in mind here that it's not just a simple case of having an injection to make you go to sleep. It's a lot more involved and there are other medications required in the overall procedure. That being said, I've never had the desire to look into what you actually do to end life over there when a person is deliberately killed by the State.

Not something I have to ponder here, fortunately. The death penalty was abolished forever in Australia after Federal Parliament passed laws ensuring it could never be reinstated 6 years ago. The last time the death penalty was used was in 1967, decades before I was even born.
