Sherita Dixon Cole was allegedly kidnapped, raped, and taken to jail after a traffic stop that occurred in Waxahachie, Texas. The incident was first reported by journalist Shaun King (BLM activist) who posted the story on his social media pages.

According to King, Cole was pulled over at 1:30 a.m. by a Texas State Trooper named Officer Hubbard who accused her of driving while intoxicated. Cole agreed to take a breathalyzer and was not over the legal limit. Hubbard allegedly didn’t like Cole’s attitude and placed her in handcuffs and put her in the back seat of his car. He sat next to her and placed his hands on her thighs and told her she could “earn her way home.”

At that moment, Cole’s boyfriend pulled up behind the trooper’s car. Cole called her boyfriend and gave him her location when she was first pulled over. Hubbard told Cole that he wouldn’t hesitate to shoot and kill her boyfriend if she told him what happened. The trooper walked to his car and informed him that he was taking her to jail. He also told him not to follow them or he would also be arrested.

After social media blew up over Sherita's claims of rape and death threats, the Waxahachie police department released body camera footage that proved no such events occurred. The video does however show two open containers of alcohol in Sherita's car, as well as a paper cup filled with booze in the cup holder. BLM has got to be hating those darn body cameras right about now!

This is exactly why cameras should be mandatory for any police-public interaction. It keeps everyone honest.

Not sure I would have used those words exactly, but I do share the sentiment. :applaud

Shaun King, who totally went to bat for the gal, has issued a public statement -- her attorney did as well -- both apologizing for her behavior.

I can’t even begin to make sense of why someone would concoct such an awful story — particularly in light of the reality that both police brutality and sexual assaults are a very real crisis in this nation. It does a tremendous disservice to actual victims when something horrible like this is fabricated. It provides an unfair spotlight to a good cop and undeserved cover for the bad ones who will try to use an incident like this as false proof of their innocence.

What a sad situation. I also heard that she likely going to be charged, but only with a 2nd degree misdemeanor.

Anyone who falsely accuses anyone of something this serious should be in jail, period -- this is why it is a good idea to have body cams -- it protects citizens and the police alike.

Also, this proves BLM is a terrorist organization who is against America

Just imagine how this could have escalated without the body cam...

Yep, yet how does one explain that less than 8 minutes of the (heavily edited?) released official police video covers two hours from being initially pulled over to taking a BAC test at the police station?

The whole video has been released.. The whole 2 hour video.. Had it going in the background while I worked yesterday. The cop was a complete gentleman, And she was ( for the most part) polite and cooperative.

I wonder how long before the NAACP demands that both parties have to agree before a video can be released..

I agree.

The released video clip in the OP does not exonerate the cop at all, and seems like a PR piece. My assumption is those that reviewed the entire 2 hours so a better picture, including her lawyer who apologized and the media that is reporting on it.

But the video we saw, has little exculpatory evidentiary value.

But yeah, my statement about requiring police cameras was kind of general in nature. It can also convict a cop, too.

The video alone does not support the bolded claim. They may have been hoodwinked by pseudo-victim as well. As it stands, there's nothing in the released video in the OP to discredit her.

There's not enough evidence presented here, to make an informed determination.

The fake black reporter apologizes for championing the fake allegation of sexual assault. Awesome.

There have been several instances recently where people have cried wolf only to have body cam footage exonerate the cops. I hope they take them to civil court and sue the **** out of them.

Yet at the police station she looks sndcacts nothing like a person that was just raped... she continues her calm aloof demeanor.

Waxahachie, Texas? Heh, I was born in a hospital in that little town.

I wonder if any police departments or individual officers have ever sued for slander when provably false accusations of misconduct have been made? Proving damages might be tough though.

That's exactly what should happen -- they should sue the britches off the accusers and make it very public. Set an example. We have no time or use for these fakers.

I saw a clip somewhere today where a LEO sued for $5000 for slander. Judge Judy awarded the LEO all 5000 after dressing down the cute blonde daddy's girl. And daddy.

Would you really have sat and watched the full 2 hour video if I'd uploaded it? Because I can make that happen.

The officer would never have been charged, there would've been a grand jury, since there's no evidence it would've been no-billed.

in the meantime, riots in the streets.

Your probably right, but his record would be soiled, He would have been accused/convicted in the court of public opinion. He would have been crucified by BLM supporters on news talk shows/radio talk shows etc..

I would tell this woman what I told my son.

You are no good at lying, so don't do it.

If she was going to lie, at least make up a story that the physical evidence couldn't prove false immediately.
