Mexican Nationals Caught in NY with Enough Drugs to Kill 32 Million People

Can you say, "keep on topic"?

Sure. "keep on topic."

But you gotta admit, it's still stunningly hypocritical. I think that this is a revenge plot of all these countries for the tens of millions the US has slaughtered. :)

Making money off the slaughter of others.

Turnabout is fair play, doncha think?

One thing I don't get. Isn't it counterproductive for drug dealers to make/supply a drug that is going to kill their customers?

It's kinda like General Motors and their Covair, Convair, what the hell was it called?

What we should do, is put people who do this is jail for life. No plea bargains, no early release, no parole. That's a tough stance, not the crap we hand out now.

Haven’t we been there and done that? I recall reading that we have the largest prison population both in absolute numbers and considering population. And, of course, we are the only developed country that clings to the death penalty.

They don't care. If they cared about people, they wouldn't be drug dealers.

You missed my point, but ... .

One could easily draw an interesting parallel between drug dealers and US governments/most US citizens. Are you suggesting that the aforementioned actually care about people?

Come on cam. I know you're capable of discussing more than how bad the government is. Look, all governments have their bad elements and actors. There are some good people who work in government too, but they aren't always the ones we hear about or see on TV.

I'd like to think that there are some honest Americans [there are some] who will actually talk about the well over a century of US predaceous behavior against myriad poor countries and poor people. Notice all the threads with Americans whining about Russia, China, anyone just to take the focus off the evil that the USA has engaged in for so long.

You could say the same thing about Hitler's Nazi Party. That doesn't absolve evil.

*cue Max Payne theme*
"I had thought that Mexican illegals were good people, it turns out that the talking heads were wrong and the eccentric billionaire with his name written in massive gold text on his personal building was right. They bring in drugs, they bring in crime.."

And Americans ensure that they can operate with impunity by selling firepower to drug cartels.

Yup, many many are.

'I'M A HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR—TRUMP'S AMERICA FEELS LIKE GERMANY BEFORE NAZIS TOOK OVER'

...

Perhaps more alarming than the far-right getting braver is the seep into mainstream politics of their hate, their talking points, their rhetoric. “It feels like 1929 or 1930 Berlin,” Jacobs speculated, ahead of Holocaust Remembrance Day 2018 on Thursday.

“Things that couldn’t be said five years ago, four years ago, three years ago—couldn’t be said in public—are now normal discourse. It’s totally unacceptable.

“We thought our country had changed. In fact, it didn’t. We were operating on a misconception. ‘My god, we elected a black president in the United States! Look how far we’ve come!’ We haven’t.”

In Trump, Jacobs says, the far-right sees an “enabler.”

“I’m involved with New York real estate, I know this man personally,” says Jacobs, whose eponymous architecture firm celebrated its 50th birthday in 2017. “Trump is an enabler. Trump has no ideas. Trump is out for himself.

“He’s a sick, very disturbed individual. I couldn’t say that Trump is a fascist because you’ve got to know what fascism is. And I don’t think he has the mental power to even understand it.”
