SJW Couple Likely Drove Children of Cliff Intentionally

It's worth speculating because...that's what we humans do. But, as of right now, nothing conclusive has been determined.
Since this is a political forum, I can safely say that in my short time posting on this forum, you can say that again.

Very few on this forum deal with posting actual facts. When it comes to the death of six human beings, let's just wait for the facts.
They deserve no less.

So why are you so upset over my wish to wait until facts come in based on a completed, factual investigation? Just to let you know.. you keep speculating and posing strawmen hyptheticals, I'll be here to knock 'em down.

I'm not, altho I enjoyed commenting on your superciliousness in trying to claim some High Ground in 'waiting.'

Just bored I guess :)

My first suspicion was that the "accident" had been an intentional act. Lesbian couple pops up on DSS radar in WA State and suddenly their SUV plunges down a cliff, killing everyone---seems a little hard not to be suspicious.

Sad story. Very sad.

I know. Seems like a case of the best of intentions going awry.

The neighbors that reported them were interviewed and are very upset that they may have triggered it. One of the kids had told them that he was hungry and that the couple used withholding food as punishment :(

Hard to say but very sad.

Good lord...the morality police have arrived.

Let me take the liberty of blowing down that strawman you have erected.

Ha, or just own it. Really...who are you to tell us what our sentiments should be towards the deceased?

Had you been on the Internet before last November?

I just noticed the thread title. It's a bit of a lie.

Well, why not just wait for an autopsy, for all we know the person behind the wheel had a massive coronary and just died behind the wheel and accidentally drove off the cliff.

Also, who says this family was not christian?

Actually, it just another example of having ones head up their own ass.

You like the OP are talking hypotheticals.
Heck, maybe the parents were rocket scientists too or wanted to be.......

IOW, let's talk about the known facts of the accident, and knock off the speculative hearsay. Lots of less than stellar parents out there that didn't want to end their lives or those of their children.

Sorry to disappoint you TAAC, but there's multiple outlets reporting this incident, I've highlighted just a few. Search google if you need any further evidence. It's a pity you didn't actually do that yourself before starting your OP.

NBC seems to be hinting that the press conference tomorrow will reveal that the crash was intentional. You guys should listen to a Sage when one speaks.

I'm not surprised that calamity was wrong, that's par for the course, but you others surprise me.

Sorry, but when sages often speak things that are dubious, they are not sages, they are just prolific people who claim incorrect things :)

Cal is never "wrong."

You just jumped the gun.

So long as we dont believe in progress we are fine, I know.....

I'm not sure what's sadder. The fact that you appear to be happy that the act may have been intentional so that you can puff your chest out and say "hey look I was right", or the fact that you missed the point that many in this thread were making.

That being that at the time of posting your OP, there WAS no actual evidence that the act WAS intentional so your thread title was a lie and that you had no regard for the six kids killed, rather you were more focused on whether or not the incident would gain as much attention as the Turpins.

Speaks volumes. You can deflect, pout, lie, whatever, your words are plainly visible right there in the OP. Your words.

I bet they stopped to look at the scene and some idiot accidentally gassed it over the side. And the ground doesnt look too safe there like maybe they parked alongside the cliff and the ground collapsed on them. The car actually kinda looks like it rolled off the cliff sideways instead of looking like it zoomed off the cliff at full speed. Like they parked too close to the cliff edge and the ground was weak.

Just look at all that fallen ground near the cliff. They probably rolled off after parking on the edge.

The local LE has now said that they stopped...and then restarted about 70 feet back from the edge and the onboard computer chip showed they never braked.

With multiple reports from neighbors that they had reported the couple to family services re: abuse of the kids, and then a long roadtrip with 6 kids in a vehicle...it's not surprising, altho very sad...that they chose this 'escape.'

That is totally a scary pull-out overlook tho! Anything like that needs at least curbs or something near the edge.

There's a lot old roads in California with no barriers, that basically equal death if you slide off. I've never understood why the state didn't do something about that.
