Count Dankula is Grossly Offensive.

Count Dankula is a YouTuber who has spent the better part of two years fighting a hate crime conviction in England. His crime? Uploading a video of a pug reacting to the phrase "gas the Jews" and doing the Nazi salute. In a video he originally made for his seven subscribers and girlfriend, he stated that his goal was to make his girlfriend's cute dog into the ugliest thing he could think of - a Nazi. For this crime, a judge in the UK has found him guilty of being "grossly offensive," a sentence that could carry 2 months of prison time as a punishment, over a goddamn joke.

We live in dark times, when a joke comparing Nazis to an inbred, flat-faced abomination of a purebreed is worth going to prison over. This is an awful precedent for the Isles to set. There is no justification for sending someone to prison for an edgy joke.

That guy's a douche no doubt but I agree it's not worth going to jail over.

He's also a communist, which makes the court convicting him of deliberately spreading Nazi propoganda even more ridiculous. He's got the hammer and sickle on his chest & everything.

Silly is one word for it, but I prefer horrifying. In one of his trial update videos, he tells us the prosecutor tried to change his charge to something worse so he could lock Dankula up for five years.

 
I would go a far as to say, He's gross and offensive even if he didn't post the video.. What is it with all that metal crap on his face... I also wonder what his ears will look like in about 10 years...

But should people be put in prison for being grossly offensive? That's the real question here.
 
So glad I live in a country with a first amendment (for now), and people want us to be more like them? Disarmed and silenced? Or like Canada with their bill C-16? Get the **** outta here.
 
He should not only be charged with a Hate Crime but also with Cruelty To Animals.

Disgusting.
