One of the indicted Russians is Yevgeny Prigozhin. Prigozhin was a felon in Soviet times and spent time in prison. Prigozhin got out of prison just as the USSR was dissolving. He started a catering business that blossomed. His big break came when his firm was awarded a contract by President Vladimir Putin to cater Kremlin events. In a few years, Prigozhin was a wealthy man owning numerous companies and one of Putin's "go-to oligarchs". Prigozhin put all of his business holdings under the umbrella of Concord Holding Company.
In 2013, Concord (Yevgeny Prigozhin) purchased a building located in the Olgino neighborhood of St. Petersburg, Russia at 55 Savushkina Street. In 2014, Concord started at new company there - The Internet Research Agency -- now known as the Russian troll factory. Over a thousand English-speaking Russians would man computer stations on three shifts, spreading propaganda and disinformation on American social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. The other express target of this clandestine organization was the newly elected government of Ukraine under Petro Poroshenko. The troll factory still exists at 55 Savushkina Street although Prigozhin has changed its name to Glavset.
P.S. While Yevgeny Prigozhin is the owner of Concord Holding Company, the CEO of Concord Management and Consulting LLC (a subsidiary of Concord Holding Company) is a Russian by the name of Dmitry Valeryevich Utkin. One of the things Concord Management and Consulting LLC manages is the Internet Research Agency/Glavset (the troll factory). But it gets better. Utkin is a former Russian intelligence officer and served in the Pskovsk Brigade of the GRU (Russian Military Intelligence). Utkin is also the founder/owner of the Wagner Group (ChVK Vagner) which is the largest private military contractor (PMC) in Russia. Although PMC's are illegal in Russia, the Kremlin uses the Wagner Group whenever plausible deniability is required. Wagner kontractniki (contract personnel) are fighting in eastern Ukraine, Chechnya, Transnistria, Ossetia, and Syria.
A few days ago near Deir al-Zour, Syria ... Wagner Group kontractniki and Assad/Hezbollah fighters attacked US/Kurdish positions. According to reports, this Wagner/Assad/Hezbollah attacking force was decimated.
