Sanders said during a press conference earlier Tuesday that the suspect, a student, entered the school at 7:57 a.m. and soon opened fire with a handgun. Sanders said the first 911 call came in two minutes later, and police were on scene by 8:06 a.m.

Someone made a typo in the CNN article. Not sure why we need a whole thread to point that out.
 
We should probably ask to have this moved to the CT forum. You never can tell with these things when someone conspires to obfuscate the timeline for their own personal gain.

It's not even a typo. The CBS story used local time; the CNN story used Eastern Time (which CNN generally defaults to).
