I can't even begin to describe how horrible I find this woman to be.

Pure evil. This is when 'eye for an eye' makes perfect sense to me.

More likely to be mental health issues. I hope she is given a psychological evaluation before trial, but given that the American legal system sucks, I have my doubts.

She would have to worry more about the 'prison system'. Her future roommates do not take a liking to kid killers.

So being crazy should give her a pass to a mental institution?

Maybe it was port-partum depression? Is that what it's called?

If she is mentally ill, she should be placed in a secure psychiatric hospital; but this is America, so...

Psyche evaluation aside, what she did to the little ones is beyond horrific and there is no good reason for her to be sucking the same air good people breathe. I don't advocate physically torturing her but why waste taxpayer money on a trial? A single bullet between the eyes would solve the problem. Housing someone like this doesn't help anyone. Not her. Not her children. Not society. Given that the American legal system does not have an immediate solution like that, I tend to agree that it sucks.

Typical conservative. The only Amendment they support is #2, ironically perfectly matching what it is--****.

I'm dead serious. There is no fathomable reason for keeping that woman alive. Our society has suffered greatly from the influence of misguided liberals who want to pamper the worst criminals of our time. There is no "fixing" this woman. There is no forgiveness for what she did.

It is not honorable to pretend any rehabilitation is possible. Rather, it's counterproductive to a peaceful society.

If she did this, the most fitting punishment would be to do the same to her as her method of carrying out the death penalty.
What would that achieve? Anyone who commits this kind of horrific crime can’t be mentally stable so I don’t see any kind of deterrent effect applying and how much this woman suffers during an execution process obviously has no long term relevance given that she’d be no more dead by the end of the process.

I get the impression that some people think knowing similar horrific acts are being imposed on the criminals will somehow make us all feel less grief and pain on behalf of their victims. I’d suggest that anyone who did feel better as a result of that is suffering the same kind of psychological issues as the criminals themselves. Causing suffering to others, regardless of who they are or what they did, doesn’t make normal people feel good in any way.

Executing mentally ill people without a trial? You have the nerve to have a Jefferson quote in your sig, yet want to ignore the 6th amendment.

It would be justice.
