Texas A&M's football coach Kevin Sumlin receives racist letter

The wife of Texas A&M’s Kevin Sumlin revealed late Thursday that her husband received a handwritten letter that called the coach a racial slur.

The letter was sent to the couple’s home in College Station. Charlene Sumlin posted photographs of the letter and the envelope on her Twitter page.

Texas A&M president Michael Young and athletics director Scott Woodward released a joint statement condemning the letter as “disgusting and threatening.”

People of 2017: please tell me how any part of this is ok.
And to the sender: did it occur to you that a child may open it?#orelseWHAT? pic.twitter.com/Co1s2Hb94r

“Earlier this evening, we became aware of a letter of unknown origin that was sent to the Sumlin family home. We unequivocally condemn this disgusting and threatening letter. There is no excuse for hatred and, as a community, we will not allow the ignorance of some to intimidate any member of our community. On behalf of all Aggies, our thoughts are with Coach Sumlin and his family, and we will do all that we can to ensure their safety. We are working with law enforcement authorities to bring the sender of this letter to justice. We stand with the Sumlins and will not accept this inexcusable act of hate.”

Stop the Presses! Someone used the N-word...racism must still exist!

Here's the letter:

You suck as a coach. You're a N***** and can't win. Please get lost.
https://twitter.com/courshel/status...exas-ams-kevin-sumlin-receives-racist-letter/

1. Racism does exist, no one doubts that. It is exhibited by people of all races.

2. The N-word is also widely used by Black American's to and about each other.

So this letter could be written by your stereotypical White racist, or your pissed off Black American football fan.

Meanwhile...what point is this OP trying to make?
