A former FBI agent battling Deputy Director McCabe said there is a 'cancer' inside the FBI

She told Circa, current senior level management, including McCabe, created a “cancer like” bureaucracy striking fear into FBI agents and causing others to resign. She eventually resigned herself, but her case is still pending.
“They’ve poisoned the 7th floor,” said Gritz, referring to the actual floor where management is housed in the FBI’s Hoover Building. “There’s a cancer there of a group of people. You’ve seen it with some of the recent reports of leaks, conflicts of interest, you see it in my case. The level of integrity is lacking. I have never seen or heard of the amount of conflicts of interest, or leading by fear.”

I posted it because it's almost like a companion piece to the news about Comey's clairvoyance skills.
It does appear that there are political factions within the FBI hierarchy that affect the proper performance of their jobs.

Donald's personality defects seem to be trickling down through the leadership of his government.

This is my post from the previous FBI/Comey thread:

The U.S. justice system has been crooked from damn-near the ground up for awhile now. I remember, was it last year, the EU and several other countries cautioning travel advisory to the U.S. because of the rampant police brutality.

By the numbers: US police kill more in days than other countries do in years

Considering all of this plus the fact that we have more incarcerated, more police militarization, and politicized judiciary I find it patently absurd when people try to argue that the FBI isn't biased toward the superclass (in this case, the political demographic). The same reason I find it patently absurd when people think they're gonna see Trump in handcuffs. Nope, at the most he'll be impeached, but probably resign before that. U.S. police are here to protect them from us and serve the establishment.

Can't blame Trump for this trickle.
You can blame him if he doesn't stanch the flow.

SO...you see the thread and title and automatically believe, it making it be about Trump. But, the facts in the story indicate the instances being discussed happened in 2012, 2013, and 2015. Sooooo...maybe not Trump. Obama then?

One of the dark legacies of the Obama Administration is the tasking of mega agencies with political objectives. This was seen with the IRS, the EPA, the DoJ, and it appears the FBI and other agencies of similar mission.

The task of returning these agencies to their primary mission will be long and difficult. The fact their mission was usurped by political forces should be a concern to every citizen.

It seems the only good guys in government are the whistleblowers like Gritz.

This story combined with Sibel Edmonds' story about her experiences working for the FBI make the agency to be very corrupted at many levels. Maybe some good will come out of this.

Lack of integrity, conflicts of interest and leading by fear are all cherished qualities of Trump. This is undoubtedly the FBI he deserves and will continue to exacerbate.

I have hope that most of the rank-and-file perform professionally.
I have little hope for the same from the big boys.
We'll see which group Wray is in.

And you probably dont think your action of trying to equate problems in an agency over at least the last 4 years to Trump in any way shape or form makes you look stupid.

somebody help me out here
exactly what inappropriate action was taken against the EEOC complainant by the FBI in this case?

McCabe is under three separate investigations for possible unethical actions.

1. His hostile actions against Gritz when he got word that she was going to file a sexual discrimination charge against him.

2. It appears he neglected to file campaign donations to his wife's campaign. For his relationship with Terry McAuliffe and the Clintons and for publically supporting a candidate which happened to be his wife using social media dressed in a tee shirt promoting her which is in violation of the Hatch Act. And because of allowing his political biases to become public the question is should he have been removed from the Clinton Email case?

3. Michael Flynn at the time supported Gritz and her discrimination claim and wrote a memo charging McCabe of improper conduct. Three FBI agents gave witness that McCabe made it known his dislike of Flynn. Yet he was up to his eyeballs in the Flynn Russian probe investigation even though he had a bias against him and did not recuse himself. And during that time leaks about Flynn were frequent and one has to wonder if McCabe wasn't behind them.

Comey Drafted Statement Clearing Hillary Before Interviewing Key Witnesses

Yeah, pretty clear that there is a cancer infecting the bureau, it's called partisan politics, and there was no greater evidence of this when Comey delivered his presser (how many other FBI directors conducted regular pressers anyway?) inventing the 'lack of intent' escape clause as some sort of feeble excuse for the justice department's attorney generals (who really should have made that decision and conducted that presser) to not prosecute Hillary for her miss-handling of highly classified materials on her private emails server, a crime which has no such stipulation of 'lack of intent'.

As others have been prosecuted and incarcerated for far less than what Hillary did, Comey formalized a two tier justice system, a cancer on the fundamental principal of 'equality before the law'.

Further, a similar cancer infected the Obama era DOJ, from Holder's contempt of congress, the DOJ funneling collected fines and penalties to left wing activist groups, to any number of other malfeasance.

Yes, there is a cancer in the FBI, the DOJ, and add to that, the same sort of cancer in the federal intelligence community.

It is high time for a thorough house cleaning at all levels of the federal government, hence the clear high degree of traction for 'drain the swap' with the electorate, as, apparently, they see the cancerous growths on the federal government as well.

You bet.
As for Comey, after observing him for a while it looked to me like he was playing both sides.
Possibly trying to assure his survival for whatever the future held and in whosoever's hands it was held.
In so doing he played a risky game given what he said under oath.

It'd be a mistake to mistake what he did as non-partisan.

Comey seems to have played his directorship for self aggrandizement, typically not within, and a poor match for, the role of an FBI director.

We should agree to meet at the building at a certain time and date, go up to the 7th floor, and make citizens arrests.
