People who think his Armed burglary sentence was harsh, may be surprised to learn that any armed felony can get you life in fl.

An it hardly ever happen that way in Florida or anywhere else when you are talking about someone with no criminal history.

You had me 'til "Hell no."

 Just because he has a right to get out does not mean I think it is right that he will get out.

I certainly would suggest a word or two of caution to anyone who decides it's a good idea to start dating him.

What do you think?

No matter how you feel about Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman, the Vegas incident didn't have anything to do with that. I'm pretty much convinced that his sentence was unjustly influenced by the earlier trial and, since he's been a model prisoner, let him loose.

I pretty much agree with your statement unless of course they find OJ had ties to Russians, then that is a whole new ballgame. :)

There is no doubt in my mind that his long sentence was partially the result of the court thinking OJ got away with Murder. But that is improper because he has to be presumed innocent of that murder since the state failed to convict him. Now if Ron Goldman's father or the JDL were to whack OJ after he gets out, I wouldn't be losing any sleep over that but the state shouldn't punish him for crimes he was not convicted of.

BTW Doesn't he owe the Goldman family something north of 30 million dollars?

From what I read a few months ago, there is no reason to deny his parole because he qualifies for early release: no prior felony convictions, over age 60, good record in prison, participated in various programs, etc. The guy is getting out. I'm pretty sure if it.

Now, do I want him to get out? Hell no.

I fully agree with that. I hate seeing him out on the streets again.

That would be vigilante justice and I do not believe in that. I would hate to see mr. Goldman end up in jail for a piece of scum like OJ Simpson.

That's my suspicion, as well. His sentence was more for the murders than anything else.

OJ males $300,000 per year from his football pension. He has four million in savings. Brings up the question why he has never paid one cent to the lawyers!!. F Lee Baily is disbarred and broke and works above a beauty salon!
