CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. — At least 15 members of the MS-13 street gang have been arrested on murder and other charges following a spate of bloodshed that included the massacre of four young men in a Long Island park and the killing of a suspected gang rival inside a deli, police said Wednesday.

The majority of the arrests happened in the past week, though Sini noted his department has been waging an aggressive campaign against the gang following the deaths of 11 people in the Brentwood and Central Islip communities since last September. Some of those killed have included high school students.

The killings of the four young men found slaughtered in the park in April punctuated a spate of violence in Central Islip and neighboring Brentwood, east of New York City.

Last September, two teenage girls who were walking in their Brentwood neighborhood were attacked with machetes and baseball bats. Four people were charged in March in their deaths and could face the death penalty if convicted.

Their favorite weapons seem to be machetes, as that's what they use many times to kill their victims. This gang that started in L.A. 30 years ago, is now all over the country, committing major violence in New York, Virginia and Florida. I've tried to tell people that what happens here in California will eventually spread throughout the rest of the country, but many don't listen.

Gangs that started in NY are now all over the county. Gangs that started in Chicago are now all over the country. Gangs that started in 100 different cities are now all over the country. Why is CA different?

It's the birthplace of the Mexican Mafia, Nuestra Familia, MS13, and the Crips and Bloods. These 5 groups are responsible for a huge amount of the violent crime in the US, and control the sales of hard drugs which have killed hundreds of thousands of people in the past 30 years. That's the legacy of California.

Authorities in New York announced Wednesday that three members of the MS-13 gang have been charged with attempted murder in an attack over the weekend involving a machete.

Authorities said the Hernandez brothers, both from El Salvador and in the country illegally, are responsible for an additional assault in January when a 19-year-old man was slashed in the face with a machete. Arguenta, also born in El Salvador, was in the process of applying for a green card, according to police.

Responsible for allowing it to develop, as a side effect of our retarded Sanctuary State identity. California now finds itself having to let state inmates out of prison early, the consequence of illegal immigration leading to crime.

The Democratic party here gave violent gangs like MS13 to the country, and now they're giving hardened prisoners to the communities of California because the prisons are filled to capacity.

The Mongols' headquarters is California, where most members are Hispanic. And I'm not starting threads about them because they don't show up in the news all the time for killing people. Your privilege didn't include much knowledge, you might want to think about that.

Probably because humans have evolved to put stock in what they personally see. A New Yorker will naturally be more concerned about New York gangs, just as this Californian seems concerned with Californian gangs.

I'm pretty concerned with Boones Mill gangs down here. When there are enough people in Boones Mill to make a gang, y'all better look out. Them rednecks is serious. I don't want to alarm anybody. At the current rate of growth in Boones Mill, we still have another millennia before things could get out of hand. I'm pretty sure there's a sign on 220 that reads, "Boones Mill...It's Not For Everybody". So we're safe. For now.

Typical apathetic mentality. Prior to 9/11, most Americans were apathetic to Islamic terrorism too, even though all the warning signs were there. The only way you'll actually care about any of this, is if it shows up in your neighborhood. But then you'll just pack up and move someplace else, and go back to being apathetic.
