More details emerge about GOP operative’s bizarre suicide including note that said ‘NO FOUL PLAY’

"The Republican operative who committed suicide after speaking to the Wall Street Journal died of asphyxiation and left an all-caps handwritten note that insisted there was “NO FOUL PLAY WHATSOEVER” involved in his death, said CNN on Friday.

Peter Smith, 81, a longtime Republican operative and powerful conservative mega-donor told Journal reporter Shane Harris how he worked with ousted National Security Adviser Mike Flynn in an effort to coordinate with Russian hackers and obtain information about Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Ten days later, Smith was found dead in his hotel room near the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, MN under what appear to be suspicious circumstances."
 
I have to chuckle a bit, though, with all due reverence to the deceased.
Time after time, after time, I log on here and see people ripping apart links and evidence others use to support their claims.
I wonder why people who have been doing this for years, still continue to do it?
Has anyone's opinion been changed by a link, video or chart? Honestly, has it?
Usually the post is discredited because of all kinds of reasons. So why keep doing it? No one's mind is going to change. There are no "gotcha" moments, and it is all a superior waste of time, as I have seen.
I think it is just because we like and enjoy arguing with someone we will never meet, see or hear from.
Probably just to reinforce our own beliefs.
So here we go, page after page of, "Oh, yeah, well look at this" back and forth forever. Changing nothing.
Usually only halfway down the first page.

Put a red herring in the made up suicide note.

Sounds like the Commission was investigating Eberwein, not the Clinton Foundation. This entire thread is a Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy, lol.

With the Clintons in general, there an history of people associated with them passing away under mysterious circumstances. One can't help but wonder.

If there were any evidence, it probably got erased. 8)

How can so many suicides and just plain weird deaths surround the Clintons? Didn't Bill Clinton bomb 2,000 Iraqis in 1998 to divert attention away from the then upcoming impeachment vote? Yep. Why do people think that American politicians don't have people done away with when they represent a serious threat to them? Russia does it, China does it....but not the morally superior politicians of the USA, right? Give me a break.

You're second article mentioned nothing about the guy criticizing the clinton foundation in any way shape or form. It mentions none of the details your other source mentioned but also has many other details that the other story left out. This guy was being investigated for actions he took, had been driving uber while being unemployed and in very hard times etc. You're first source is a bunch of bull****. Just admit it.

Given the Clinton's are the source of many a CT, I'll do nothing of the sort.

Even Snopes has their doubts.
