Why should the poster not have commented on this murder because the murderer is black? Do you have some reason for wanting murders by blacks to go unmentioned?

A mentally ill person might kill a woman over her purse or wallet. They aren't going to tie her up, torture her, and steal her car. That's what an evil person does.

I am still wondering why you seem not to want murders by blacks to be brought up. This is a case of a black man murdering a white woman, and you evidently do not like the fact the original poster called attention to it.

Are they calculating though? Mental illness should bring about some form of dysfunction with it, otherwise, the person isn't mentally ill. Which is why most mentally ill suspects commit very poorly thought out crimes, which are easy for police to solve.

We run the risk of giving too much leniency to evil criminals, if we're going to diagnose everyone who commits a crime as being mentally ill.

In some cities, I think it's as high as 50% of homicides they go unsolved. For various reasons too.

from your perspective then, most sane people are big on committing crimes.

No doubt this poor man is the real victim. This woman probably said or did something which gave his inner child a really big owie, and he understandably acted out in response. No one has the right to make another human feel icky and invalidated.

Just review some serial killer cases, and you'll see what I'm talking about. Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, and the BTK killer were NOT mentally ill. They were psychopaths- evil.
These men were fully functional in other parts of life. They chose to kill because they enjoyed it.

It's not that simple. Cases remain unsolved for a variety of reasons, incl.

1. Police have no suspect.
2. Police have a suspect but not enough evidence.
3. Police arrest a suspect, but the DA decides not to prosecute.

as for evil that is a man made construct...it is relative
