When those American's are committing crimes that involve things which fall under ICE's mandated power, yes, they should. Believe it or not ICE covers far more ground than just illegal entry into the US.

Besides, as has already been pointed out to you, other agencies were involved as well. Which means that the mandates from both agencies are working together in coordination. So where one agencies powers may fall short, the other agencies powers may fill in the gaps.

And seriously, using the race card? That's about as stupid as it gets considering these people were arrested for actual crimes that have nothing to do with race. Crimes that were investigated for a year before any arrests were made. To claim that this had to do with race is nothing more than partisan hackery.

One more note: This investigation was obviously authorized during Obama's Administration considering it took a year to gather all the info that allowed this mass arrest to take place. The fact that you are attempting to pin this solely on Trump is laughable at best.

Care to look up the "Customs" part? Are you under the impression that American citizens cannot violate customs laws? I am not ready to believe that you think those gang members brought the drugs across the border legally.

That would be the good part. The bad is seeing a federal police force going after US citizens, regardless their crimes. I'm sure they are using the drug laws and RICO to justify their action, but I simply cannot see how that is the jurisdiction of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
