New Director of the FBI Recommendation

If you don't think he was a hero of the moment to NYC and the entire nation, you don't remember it right. Period.

If by "hero", you mean "opportunist", then your memory is serving you well.

Rudy won't be nominated so this whole line of discussion is moot.

Look for someone younger without all of the political baggage.

He maybe once a hero a long time ago but he sold out, bet against America.

He's also a man that married his cousin, his children hate him, and again, has a very racist position on blacks.

He's also a bitch. Trump played him like a two bit whore. He didn't get rewarded after whoring himself for Trump.

**** stickin', is it?

He married his second cousin. Since you obviously think this is incest, I assume you never went to high school?

If it's true he has no relationship with his kids, he's sure not the only divorced spouse who's in that position. Link to a racist quote?

What the hell happened to you

The way it's going, I wouldn't put it past Trump to put in Jared Kushner.

It would seem to solve his Russia problem at the FBI in legal terms.

Alright, I'm joking - kind of. You never know with this guy.

Whoever Trump puts into FBI director, it will be a total Republican hack/Trump toadie.

We have to trust Comey loyalists to do the right thing and defy their superiors.

Does FBI director require Senate confirmation?

Happening to be mayor while your city is struck by a terrorist attack does not make you a hero. The real heroes were the FDNY who rushed into a burning building they knew could collapse at any moment, not a clown who spent the last 16 years mentioning 9/11 every time he gets in front of a TV camera for political points.

He didn't just mention it, he monetized it.

Yes, standard Senate confirmation hearing is required.

Discussion is moot, huh? Look around if 'moot' was a disqualifier, what the **** would we argue about?

Maggie, No disrespect, but I remember. As a prior poster noted, RG never missed an opportunity to ask "Know where I was on 11SEP01," forever known as 9/11
What I remember is great handling of a crises. Bloviating excessively afterwards does not diminish his handling in the crises. It seems wrong to exclude him from a position that he could handling very well, as evidenced by his past, simply because you don't want to hear him bloviate about it after his term is over. Besides, at his age after a tour as FBI director, I doubt that he would bloviate about his past there as he would not be angling for a new position. And he would probably not be bloviating about 9/11 when he is ass deep in current problems at the FBI. "What about the Russians involvement in the Election? Ans-What is important is how I handled 9/11". Not going to happen.

Jared Kushner has a law degree without passing the bar exam. A poser like that can't be trusted.

f'n trey gowdy

Since his name isn't even in the circle you don't know what your talking about.

First choice would be Ted Cruz, but I wish Joe Lieberman was up to it.

I sent the WH my recommendation the first day the position was open. I doubt they will accept, or that my choice would either.

Doesn't change the fact that he is a good guy.

With various names being suggested for director who in their right mind would want that job?

That job is tainted now no matter which side of the boat you swing. One is set up to fail.

Have faith.
