Any convicted felon should be imprisoned after a trial, no matter the citizenship status. Deportation just gives the criminal a chance to sneak back in. WTF is that???? :shock:

I do see a YUGE problem if ICE tries to deport every misdemeanor violator. Much easier a deal when you are sitting in your comfy chair ranting online... :peace

Even for minor offenses of which bank robbery is not minor
They are only guests and if they don't behave out they go

I suspect that the killer may be an immigrant, and the media isn't saying his status at present. If he does turn out to be in the country illegally, this story will just be swept under the rug, like so many before it have been.

What 'they' deserve isn't really up to you, thank GAWD.

Again I didn't say release those charged with major crimes back onto the street, please try and pay attention. I said your concept of 'sending 'em back' instead of putting them in prison is just rabid right bull ****. Prison time for major crimes, misdemeanors get a second chance.

Deportation doesn't work, it simply goes toward satisfying a bizarre rabid right rant... :peace

You should read more carefully

I said do not release convicted criminals back on the street if they are immigrants.

They should be deported instead - after they complete their sentence.

Any immigrant who breaks the law is not welcome in America

The killer from the OP committed bank robbery twice, plus had a recent conviction for larceny. He was clearly someone who was in the USA for the purpose of committing crimes here. He wasn't deported after any of the serious crimes he committed.

Our immigration system is broken. There are countless similar stories I've seen where an immigrant committed numerous serious crimes in the US, before going on to commit murder or rape here. The time has come to end our self destructive immigration policies.

Well howzabout this Mac... CBS in Boston actually did a story asking why Bambam wasn't deported. So I posted the story in Breaking News MSM. Color me surprised.

He was here legally.
Judge Gave Teixeira Accused Killing Doctors 364 Day Sentence | The Daily Caller
If not they wouldn't be talking about revoking his immigrant status.
He was born in Guinea-Bissau and raised in Cape Verde both Portuguese speaking countries, so he was a Latino immigrant, much like one of the victims Lina Bolaños, who was a Spanish speaking immigrant from Colombia.

Yep, definitely a Permanent Legal Resident.

He was here legally, but could have been deported back to Africa after he committed bank robbery. He also could have been given a longer jail term then 364 days for robbing a bank.

The bad decisions of the Massachusetts justice system are as much to blame for the 2 doctors deaths as Teixeira is, IMO.
