Happen in criminal trials all the time. This is why the prosecution has a much easier time winning, juries still are prone to blindly believe the police are pure and true.

Granted, most people who are accused actually are guilty, but not at the rates that many people still choose to believe.

This is why "experts" have lost credibility. They increasingly expect Americans to deny what they witness with their own lying eyes.
