Crime Deterrent Or Inconvenience? Coffee Shop Goes Cashless

Because, believe it or not, tipping for coffee drinks has become somewhat standard at many shops... and the majority allow you to tip with a card. Many of the baristas at Starbucks have just as much skill as the indies.

I understand that. My point is employers are under no obligation to allowing tipping on a credit card if the employee is already making minimum wage.

I was under the impression that a store had to accept US Currency, is that not true then?
