Gee lady, if you knew he mental problems... why did you not act to fix the problem? Sorry, his "treatment" is permanent removal from the land of the living

How exactly was she supposed to "fix the problem" ?

From the article......

.......The 26-year-old walked into an FBI office in Alaska two months ago claiming voices in his head were urging him to watch sickening ISIS propaganda videos.

He was stripped of his weapon but it was returned to him a month later when he was released from a mental health facility.

The same gun was reportedly used during Friday's massacre when Santiago flew from Anchorage to Fort Lauderdale before retrieving the legally-checked weapon from a baggage carousel......

Aren't you one of those who would say that the government shouldn't be taking any guns and/or be involved in any ones healthcare ?

Eat your popcorn, what serious efforts did she make to get him the treatment he needed? To alert the proper people he was a threat to himself and others? Oh she didn't...

You seemed to have missed the part in his post that contained: "The 26-year-old walked into an FBI office in Alaska two months ago claiming voices in his head were urging him to watch sickening ISIS propaganda videos. Odd that you'd ignore that and instead seek to scapegoat the mother.

I didn't miss that, what did SHE do, he created that mess.

A mother cannot "fix" a child's mental illness. A mother cannot even compel an adult child to get therapy and meds. All the mother could do was petition for involuntary commitment if the adult child acted in a way that indicated that they pose an immediate threat to themselves or others.

Why was the gun given back?

Why wasn't he tracked?

We want a registry for muslims and a wall for illegals, but we can't pay attention to someone who tells the FBI that they're suffering from blatant symptoms of schizophrenia and that their brand of crazy causes them to watch ****ing ISIS videos?

Really?

(And it's the mother's fault? Really?)

Apparently the mental health system could not fix the system either. In the interest of public safety, we're getting down to a single choice.

Fully agree. Too bad someone didn't off him with his own gun, while it was in his hand!

i disagree-they should interrogate him for days and then do surgical exploration of his brain to see what caused him to be a sick SOB.
