Trump slams 'godfather' over chicago murder rate

Donald Trump used his Twitter bully pulpit on Monday to blast Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel for allowing his city's murder and firearms shooting rates to spiral out of control.
'Chicago murder rate is record setting – 4,331 shooting victims with 762 murders in 2016,' Trump tweeted.
'If Mayor can't do it he must ask for Federal help!'
2016 was one of the most violent years in Chicago history with the most homicides in two decades – more than New York and Los Angeles combined.

Last night on 60 Minutes, they interviewed a couple former Chicago cops and the current Top Cop there. My question was this:
Why aren't they interviewing and grilling Rahm Emanuel? He's the big boss and no one is putting him on the hot seat.

The way the numbers developed seems odd. Usually homicide incidence develops over long time periods and doesn't show swings as large as this. Has anyone seen any studies on this?

I don't know if any studies have been done, but since B. Hussein obozo has been in office, and since Emanuel has been mayor.....it's become much worse.

The why as I see it, is permission. obama and Emanuel have given all these yahoos, permission to act out. The president by lying and using divisive tactics and the mayor by doing virtually nothing. In the old days Mayor Daly would hold many news conferences and speak boldly, and take serious action...... this mayor....ain't sayin **** and the media is treating his inaction with a hands off approach.

Hypothetically, if Clint Eastwood were the mayor, the media would be all over his ass 24/7/365, wanting answers and actions.
Of course if Clint were mayor, he'd tell the ACLU and obozo to **** off and take whatever action was deemed necessary, to bring law and order to Chicago.!

The "studies" lie in the morgue.
 
Single, teenage mothers drop out of school. They have sex with numerous partners that are high school drop outs that come from single mother homes. The "fathers" of the children born as a result of irresponsible sex have put themselves in the position to join gangs is the only avenue to make money. Gangs push drugs, steal and murder using 100% illegal guns. Despite the environment of poverty, murders and crime the young uneducated teens continue to give birth to children. The subject line should never be "Murder Rate" rather, The Culture of Black Suicide". Fact: There is no way out and nothing can be done. Does anyone actually believe the gangs will shrivel in the presence of an increase in cop population? The cops they have now won't go in to those neighborhoods and how many man hours are put in to trying to solve these murders? Why should anyone dedicate time to this wholesale slaughter? Perhaps "I have a dream" should be "I live a nightmare". Let them kill each other.
