75-Year-Old Detroit Man Shoots Home Invader

Afghan teenagers convicted of gang-raping boy at knife-point in Sweden | Daily Mail Online

Here is another story from my nearby city, Uppsala. What it does not say is that the rapist are very unlikely to actually be teenagers and that they may not even come from Afghanistan. Sweden has more 'ensamkomandeflyktningbarn', alone-coming-refugee-children, than the rest of the EU put together.

There are many advantages in being a teen 'asylum seeker' and migrants know that if they say they are 15 when they are actually 25 or even 30 their claim will not be tested in any way - for example by a simple dental examination. Similarly there is no test for claimed country of origin. Just like in Germany where the first man arrested, mistakenly, was first said to have come from Afghanistan but turned out to be Pakistani.

Why drop rocks on ambulances? Well it's fun, particularly if one hates Sweden and Swedes.
omg  (they won't be expelled)....they should be, adios, you have lost your opportunity for a better life

they make it so bad for other immigrants they need to be returned, period since their crime is one of utter violence

nice when you are trying to assist people to enjoy a better life and they hate you for it and want to punish everyone for the horrendous situation they have just escaped

I don't know what the answer to that is because some people are living in such horror they need immediate rescue and assistance...it's almost impossible to weed through that massive amount of need

it's not a good situation for anyone, but I can understand the fear this would create

But here's the point Sal - the migrants have not necessarily escaped from an horrendous situation. Many come from places as varied as Egypt, Pakistan, Sudan Marrocco or Nigeria. Even the ultra PC Swedish Red/Green government says that only i in 4 asylum seekers has actually come from a war zone. Personally I doubt if its more than 1 in 20.

Some, like Amis Anri, claim asylum several times over in different EU countries; each time with a different name, a different date of birth and a different country of origin.

Mass migration is having a catastrophic on Swedish society and on our economy.

is there a solution available?

Wish I knew. We are in a deep hole so first thing is to stop digging: no more automatic admissions of everyone who utters the magic word 'asylum'. No more 'family unifications'. Resume forced expulsions. (I think it is five or six years since the then Swedish government declared it illegal to use force to deport anyone. Someone had a heart attack and died when they were being taken to a plane. If a court orders a deportation the police may take the person to the airport. But if he or she refuses to board the aircraft that's it, they are simply given a lift back to town.)

But none of this will actually happen.

it is a time of great confusion for the world in general :(

it is a time of great confusion for the world in general :(

It was a time of politicians mired in moral cowardness. Posturing, preening and virtue signaling fit to bust. But then came Trump. Elected by a common people who had bravely escaped from the confusion into which the elites had sought to entrap them.

As a Brit as well as a Swede, I am a dual national, my greatest day in 2016 - and the preceding thirty years - was when we voted to leave the EU. I am able to say "we" as, having lived in the UK within the last fifteen years I had a vote. The best one I have ever cast.

can't say that I am coming from the same place as you in this regard but we shall see how it all unfolds and hopefully there will be some solutions

Which ever way it goes I hope you have a very Happy New Year. One thing is certain we will all be arguing about it - in the nicest possible way on DP.

One shot, one kill. Nice shooting by the homeowner, and good riddance. The use of deadly force in a situation like that is entirely justified.
