Anti-Trump Protests Funded By Left-Wing ‘Charity’

A left-wing charity organization with unknown sources of money is providing the funding for protests around the country — some of which have turned into violent riots — that have threatened a divided nation’s ability to unify after a contentious presidential election.

The Progress Unity Fund is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization — the same classification as the Red Cross. The group’s mission is to “provide a progressive alternative to mainstream charities,” according to its IRS filings.
GOPUSA ? Who's paying for the violence?

Something should be done..

Something should be done..

I think what can be done is already being done. Those who are destroying property are being arrested, as it appropriate.

Conducting a legal and peaceful demonstration is legitimate.

Now, what's the legal status of funding rioters? I'd have to think that this would be against the law. Funding legal and peaceful protesters probably not so much.

I was going to jump in on this thread and provide the answer to the question, but you've already done the job.

George Soro's, Drummond Pike, Tom Steyer, and those people and organizations attached to the Democracy Alliance are responsible. That would include the SEIU, the NEA (Teachers Union), the AFL-CIO, and others.

Last night, protestors organized by MoveOn.org march down the coastal street right outside my home. I'd say they were all young millennials, X'ers, and the like. For the most part they were peaceful and stayed out of the street.

Their very loud chants were as pathetic and uninformed as I expected. To me, that is the dangerous part. These kids obviously have been taught ideas that have little basis in fact. It was alarming so many people could be manipulated so completely.

If you remember, 2000 through 2008, every week there were protests against with the popular "no blood for oil" meme, and "Halliburton!". The professional protestors and rioters will be the same for the next 4 years. The media will eat it up and vomit it out ever 15 minutes on cable, tweet it out every hour on the sewer that is twitter and social media.

This is the new normal.

Didn't mean to steal your thunder there. Do please add additional citations of who's behind this crap.

Oh the bitter fruits of the liberal / progressive indoctrination in our education system (K-12 and above).

The list of socialist progressive forces behind the unrest is considerable.

Like most socialist progressive operations, the Progress Unity Fund is basically a slush fund operated to hide the identities of donors, and channel money to radical causes designed to bring unrest and push their socialist progressive narrative.

Here is link to the financials of one of the main players involved with Soro's and his Progressive Machined. The Tides Foundation.

If you're willing to download this Form 990 statement, you can see a list of the Progressive organizations Tides Channels money to.

On Page 36, the Progress Unity Fund is listed. Of course, you will also see the names of hundreds of other Progressive groups Tides channels money to.

MoveOn.org is a main beneficiary of Soro's Democracy Alliance.

Here is a list of the directors of this secretive group of millionair/billionaire elites who are funding all this social unrest and violence.

Board of Directors - Democracy Alliance

John Stocks, current Chairman of Soro's Democracy Alliance, and Executive Director of the NEA - the national teachers union.

There's Mary Kay Henry, International President, SEIU.

The list goes on.

These are just a few of the people involved in all the social unrest.

What are they protesting though? Just mad? I thought protests were supposed to have some potential outcome that could be achieved if the protest gained enough attention...in theory at least.

Color me skeptical. Not that it matters, this country is not going to unify, that ship sailed a long ways back, the future is full of change, that much we can count on.

I agree with that!

Thanks to Soros and people like him, they will keep the masses stirred up.

Many people who talk about peace and love, are hypocrites. People who don't like my posts because they are too "out there" for them to handle, don't seem to be condemning this violence and anti-Trump rhetoric.
I suggest they spend more time on here doing that, then coming after me.

Amazing how many here promote the violence by not speaking against it.
