I think most of us know that we cannot "all say what we want," at least in public, without risking unpleasant consequences. I wonder if you have learned that yet.

I am pretty sure the District Attorney will prosecute the specimen who carried out this attack. Any attack on a police officer is especially serious, because it is an indirect attack on law and civil society. It's pretty clear this person committed a crime and should be punished for it, and I suspect most juries would agree.

Well, I agree, and would love for officers to have a chance to be cleared by a jury of their peers after doing something allegedly wrong. But that happens maybe 1 out of 100 times. I actually agree with everything you are saying here. My point, is I don't think certain people would be saying this in reversed circumstances. And would be using the same language I used here in the process in earnest. Which is why I used that language in the way I did, in order to point out the absurdity of it. Thank You, for you considered response.
