Rioting hit the streets of Portland and Oakland as Hillary Clinton supporters reacted badly to Donald Trump’s election victory, while death threats against the new president-elect flooded social media.
Windows were broken and cars were set on fire in Oakland as irate protesters lit flares and blocked freeways.

Republicans were burning the flags when Obama was voted in with chants of "Not my president". Same thing is happening now but with the other side. I'm honestly astounded by how tone deaf each side is when the other side wins/loses, they lose all perspective each and every time.

You know, I have to admit I'm having issue finding it. I remember things happening, but maybe I was remembering a different instance. The most prominent one I can find is in July this year.

I'll retract my statement about the flag burning.

The sentiment of the losing team is still the same though especially "Not my president". Unfortunately I cannot edit my post so remove the statement but I do admit I cannot find it.

Not just them, it's nationwide in most larger cities! It's midnight in Portland right now and ther are 4,000 marching through the streets and blocking freeways! Same in Seattle, and several other cities.

The new American brown shirts are out destroying property, flying Mexican flags, signs with racist, and KKK all over them. Some have banners reading Moms against Trump.
These buffoons are the bi-product of left wing indoctrination by fascist professors throughout our college system nationwide. I really think some crack pot lefty is going to try to kill Trump.
They're violent people.
 
This is only the beginning. Threats and vandalism, etc. will be around for a long time and when it diminishes professional agitators will move in and do what they do best. It just proves we are not the great country w are told we are.

I shouted "not my president" but i didn't torch a flag or a car or steal from someone's property.

Perhaps they were Patriots. Perhaps they think that America is going to hell in a handbasket and so the flag burning is a representation of what they think is happening to the country.

I think these folks are confused and ignorant but, this does not mean they are not Patriots.

They are confused because they likely think that Blue would have changed the inevitable.

They are ignorant because they have not yet figured out both Red and Blue serve the same "Masters" (in the Adam Smith sense of the word).

They have not figured out that the only possibility for change is for "we the people" to stop voting Red/Blue.

Trump probably has no idea the storm he has wandered into.

We can not assume that the moon around Pluto is not made of green cheese until we take some core samples.

In all likelihood most are probably both Dem and American.
