Maybe just maybe the Chicago PD is the problem in Chicago

Yeah ... there's a few rotten apples in CPD. What, you've got over ten thousand officers in that department.

How Chicago tried to cover up a police execution | Chicago Reporter

Common thread in the last three - coverup

Maybe the police in Chicago are familiar with Rhymfest's criminal record for weapons possession and domestic violence and his history of pro-gang, pro-gun, pro-crime, pro-misogyny lyrics and figured, "screw this idiot, the chickens have come home to roost"?

Those who chose crime, and the glorification of crime, as a lifestyle and a profession probably shouldn't be surprised when law enforcement doesn't take them particularly seriously.

Now, I'll concede that the public servant in question should have done her job in this case rather than playing games on her phone while she was on the clock, but a known criminal playing "innocent victim" is kinda funny in an ironical sort of way.

Well I think we learned that when CPD's secret interrogation prison was uncovered.

How would you, or a desk officer, even know that? You've never heard of this guy either - heck, you spelled his name wrong.

seems like teat's a way back in his pat and he has wisely got rid of his guns.

Either way the CPD is a problem in Chicago. If it continues to be maybe nationalization would be appropriate or a least a state takeover.

Maybe the fact the Chicago has been burdened with Democrats and unions as far back as anyone can remember is a factor. Perhaps the fact that Chicago, and Illinois, is amazingly corrupt is a factor.

When you have a totally corrupt state government, a totally corrupt city government, and unions infesting every public department you can't expect the public will be getting any service whatsoever.

Good luck with that

I would hazard to guess that I, personally, have never heard of 99.9% of rap artists.

Thank goodness for the Googles I guess.

How would an African American police officer know about a, African American celebrity who is also a known criminal and who has also, in the not too distant past, run for a position as a city alderman in her hometown where she is a public employee and a law enforcement officer?

Is what you're asking?

I would propose that her knowing who he is, given that history, isn't quite as inconceivable as you seem to suggest.

Me?

Yeah, no reason I would know or care who the guy is.

Her?

A reasonable assumption, I think, to suspect she might know who he is.

Under reported in this story is how ****ing fat these cops are. Aren't there any fitness standards these clowns have to meet?

Really just a reflection of American society.

Right?

Or the fact that they've even got women (physically inferior by virtually any metric) serving as police officers at all.

Can't debate the post. Simply move on to something else. Such a honest debating style you have.
