Trigger happy police shoot one of thier own

If police shoot their own that is fine... what should not be happening is police shooting innocent people.

So you are not ok with cops shooting innocent people, but ok with cops shooting each other? Implying that cops are not innocent. Really? Really dude? I'm not ok with cops shooting anyone, but sometimes the choice isn't in their hands.

Sadly this is just the price that must sometimes be paid when trying to balance liberty with security. Mistakes are made. I'm sure the officer involved will regret this as long as he lives, but hopefully it won't prevent him from continuing on with his duties.

So yes, it happens; but despite the OP "Death Poster" it is not very frequent. It's also important to note that the U.S. had twice the population of the U.K. in 1900, three times the population in 1950, and more than four times the population in 2000. So the difference between "52 vs 369 over 115 years?"

You are not comparing equivalencies.

The poster shows how many citizens were killed, but I wonder how many officers have been killed by citizens during that time.

If a cop shoots his friend, fellow cop, that is not OK but more acceptable than a cop shooting an innocent person.

Sorry. Neither is acceptable. No way I can agree on that.

One is more OK than the other... that is all.

Sigh. Neither is ok. They are equally as bad. Just because you put on a badge doesn't mean your life is devalued. Well...it shouldn't. Blue lives matter as much as black ones or white ones or green ones or purple people eating ones.

"Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6"
They are just the poor, better to shoot first. We will never be held responsible..................

Opps.

If this guy had just backed off, or just never risked peoples lives for a useless DRUG BUST. We would all be better off. People SELF destruct with drugs, there is NO ONE to "protect".

Police do indeed have a difficult and dangerous job.

Says someone who probably thinks Call of Duty is an accurate depiction of a firefight.....

**** happens. Friendly fire is always a concern. These people constantly put their lives on the line every day keeping people safe.

But no.....your going to **** talk the police. From the safety of your mom's basement.

Next time you get robbed, call a drug dealer to come help get your **** back.

Drug dealers cant sell to me. They never bother me. Of course I have been beaten and robbed by a pig protected CI........

Tell me, how many shootings are there for general theft of stuff? See when the dealer is legal, and sells on the corner shop. There is no REASON for gun fights
by either party.

So people should just be allowed to steal stuff? As long as the War on Drugs is mandated by the law, it's the law. Police officers' jobs are to enforce the law. Ergo.....
